Dedicated servers are nice but pain in the ass on consoles because if EA takes them down then you have NO ONLINE..
i bought LOTR, the one thats like STARWARS BATTLEFRONT.. and i played online a bit.. then 1 day i pop it in and SERVERS ARE GONE!
do 1/2 the achievements i can't get and i can't play the best part of the game.. that game sucks balls offline
the fan works good.. i had to do that to a PS2 at one point.. i had no AC and it was a hot summer.. my friend and i were concerned LOL
Dude.. I was the same way.. didn't want a 360 cause i keep reading RROD.. RROD.. but i have owned 2 360s for 2 years each and no problems.. and i love the controller....
i have a PRO and an ARCADE.. both are played for hours on end.. its all about ventilation and no dust..
the only RROD i ever got was cause my brother accidentally kicked the power cord with his foot so it came loose.. plugged it back in and presto (it was like 1/2 way in)

When i got FF13 i played prolly 11 hours straight the first session..
my brother is ALWAYS playing MW2.. i never was concerned about it being on.. and i use it to stream stuff from my PC.. my 360s are always ON..
yes i have more then 1 360.. if i had PS3s then they would be always on as well.. (unless i am not using them at all)

consoles now can all support 4 controllers connected to it at once.. WII, XBOX and PS3.. yet there is a decline in these games..
however at least SPORTS games allow it pretty easily..
I remember for the PS1 i had the splitter so i could play WWE games with a group of friends.. and football games let us play 5 players on 1 console..

I have RE5 for XBOX and having 2 players play is so easy and each one has his own save so i keep my guns and my friends keep theirs..
my friend has a PS3 and we cannot figure out how a second player can sign in as anything but guest meaning i can't upgrade my guns.. or save for that matter.. and the game is hard with just a stock pistol... (if anyone knows how to do it properly please message me in my inbox)

The Wifi for me is either or.. i don't need it i have everything wired for better relability.. I did use the WIFI on the WII and it worked okay but its extra delay that you have so if i can wire it.. why not?

I have a 60GB drive and i usually have 20GB free at all times. I delete old vids (like trailers for games i already own) and I have a few games installed but i don't keep many installed because i swap between 2 xboxes (so i like the old system for the reason that its easy to move) and installed games only work for the system they are installed on (thats why they won't move with transfer cable)
