i think they are talking about GAME UPDATES.. the XBOX a game update takes less then 30 seconds usually, on the PS3 i have sat there for 15+ mins waiting for the download. this really hinders gameplay when you want to have a quick match online or with a friend and are forced to wait that long for a download.

MASS EFFECT 3 is what i really wanna play.. and then BioShock Infinite.. hell i will probably play them all..
i still have SaintsRow3, Skyrim, Halo aniversary and a few other games in their wrappers..
MGS HD collection is taking too long lol..
a real gamer will not have a top 10 list, s/he will just play them all like me :-) (provided its on the xbox lol)

i am a little surprised that MW3 beat out BLACK OPS because it was released so late in the year.. but the comment about SKYRIM beating out DRAGON AGE 2 at the bottom of the post to me is kind of dumb. I mean Dragon Age 2 is a faily old game compared to SKYRIM and if you are like me, you played it to death but never went back, and i believe a lot of players are like that. I did every quest but did not go back to replay it, one day i may but have had no reason to since.

look at the side by side part.. i don't see any SHADOW inside the cockpit of the GT5 other then the car itself.. Forza has image based lighting that allows the shadows from the ENVIRONMENT to manifest themselves in the cockpit.
to me they both look great but with the lighting Forza looks better and more real. you can see the shadows from the outside in the cockpit, kinda like in real life. it looks more realistic to me.. and the environment outside was much prettier in f...
so AT&T is giving their customers FREE gold essentially.. and the customers own the 360.. yet a receiver$7 a month so is $84 a year.. even if the customers have to pay for XBOX gold, this is cheaper then a STANDARD receiver that cant play games..
i didn't watch the VID.. just wanted to say.. played some of this game today.. HOLY CRAP.. i am impressed! after the letdown that was BF3 beta, i think RAGE totally restored my faith in 3rd parties!
4 weeks to release and these are the bugs in their BETA.. its a scary amount of bugs that should not have been there in the first place. I mean anyone that played the GEARS3 beta, or the ASSASSINS CREED REVELATIONS beta wouldn't even dream of playing anything that broken and assassins creed is about a month away, and Gears3 was 5 months after the beta.. so 4 weeks to fix this amount of problems, that occur over all 3 platforms is a bit much.

I don't think any of these fixes will make it to the disk personally. And if they are fixing BETA issues then does that mean they are wasting their time if like MidnytRain said this is not the most recent software. I mean it seems like a waste of resources.
this beta is atrocious really. I think a lot has to do with the crappy map they chose, very little destructibility and no vehicles. doesn't feel like a battlefield. I prefer going back to Gears3 after just 2 matche...
My biggest fear is that the actual game disks are being pressed as we type this (its due out real soon) and all this BETA stuff will be given in terms of updates. meaning out of the box, either a huge update or broken online :-(

i have been playing DEUS EX and only popped Dead Island in for a quick try.. besides Deus Ex was out longer.. and so much more polished..

1. there is a good chance MGS4 may come to the xbox since all the past and future MGS are coming to XBOX..
2. HALO AND GEARS WILL NEVER COMPARE? really? HALO is one of the most recognizable games of the HD generation, it started FPS on consoles and it has one of the best stories out there. Gears definitely has a good story too.
3. UNCHARTED has been way more recognizable then ANY XBOX exclusi...

if we are talking about GEARS3 BETA vs UNCHARTED 3 BETA then gears was the better looking of the two by far.
and yes GEARS has a great story but the re playability is ONLINE and for me its mainly in HORDE MODE..
also i beat every Gears game thus far on HARDCORE.
I hate copy cat controllers.. OEM just feel right.. i did have 2 MAD CATZ for my GAMECUBE only because they were cheap and i had 2 original GC controllers already, bought those as extras to be able to play SMASH BROS with 4.. they were only used in SMASH BROS
as for my XBOX.. all ORIGINAL.. i actually have 4 wireless and 1 wired.. (2 xboxes though) and i would not use either of these... i tried other 3rd party controllers at the store and it just feels wrong.. buttons don'...
