I think this is the perfect game for the vita. Fun and expansive but nothing too serious and heavy. I'd easily see myself playing this in bed over uncharted.
Considering I don't own a vita I'll definitely pick this up for the PS3.

I would agree that now's the time but it's just not going to happen.
Nintendo's wii u showing was quite minimal but the rumours prior to e3 was crazy.
That's not the case this year which leads me to believe they will be released in 2014.
They could mention the console and their angle on it but honestly it wont be anything exciting like demos etc.
If the rumours that the next gen will be released in 2013 are to be believed then they have to be announced during this e3. There's no smoke without fire but the console rumours are too weak and not numerous to indicate an e3 reveal of the ps4/Xbox next month.
