Dead on!;) It's that kind of closed minded attitude that can have a negative effect on other aspects of life other than games and the media. For example homosexuality or anything that is not heterosexual is not always readily accepted.
I think the more open minded everybody is, the better off we'll all be. It never hurt to be open to different views that went against the grain every once in a while. It builds a great understanding and tolerance I think.

We're still getting a very nice and healthy amount. More than the Xbox I think (not 100% on that) so I'm ok with a bit of a lul sometimes between years.
Ffs, I haven't bought a game since resistance 3 last September! So I have a lot to catch up on like uncharted and the rest, not to mention the games coming out this year.

Nice conspiracy theory. If something was that far along with that amount of investment in it they just couldn't pull out last minute. They have commitments and you can't break them, it's just not that easy.

Yeah that's my situation with the consoles too. Tbh I stopped reading his comment once I read the "human beings" shite. Why do fanboys have to talk their views up to seem so important but actually appear ridiculous is beyond me.

It's a fair point to make. I often wonder if we never entered a recession and games developers weren't playing it relatively safe to not gamble sales so much, would we have more 'out there' and different games?
Annoyingly it's the same type of generic (piss off fishy fingers!:P) shooters that seem to sell. It annoys me because killzone was unique and very enjoyable, the 3rd one still is, but it lost a small bit of it's charm I think, because of the hug...

@StarFox Yeah but I'm thinking it will look similar but with the increased power, it will have more AA and overall be a slightly nicer and smother version of the PS3/Xbox versions.

I loved red dead and the last day I was thinking of picking it up again.
I think I would really like this but I'm afraid they'll bring it forward in time to the point where it'll be set in a time between a more modern civilization and a western style. Red dead was set just at the brink of that so I think it would be disappointing to have cars and better guns instead of horses and the rest that was the heart of RDR and what make it very unique and enjoyable.
