That was hilarious. If Microsoft was smart, they would try to get Kinect on some talk shows before or close to launch, but then again I'm pretty sure they will.
I think that will most definitely be the price for an arcade plus Kinect. I'd also assume they would put some sort of hard-drive in the arcade sku.
I think you can put all your saves and stuff onto the flash drive as well as your gamertag. You can also recover your gamertag when you get the new console, through LIVE.
I think it would be between Kinect and 3DS. But I think when the ads start showing up on TV for Kinect, people will be running for the stores. At launch, we all know the games will not be amazing, but it definitely has potential. I was amazed that they were able to show Forza with the same graphics at 60fps with Kinect.
So far they showed that campaign footage which was epic, then firefight was announced with all those new functions, forge will definitely be in there, multiplayer will be great as always, 4 player co-op, who knows what else they'll come up with.
That would be friggin awesome if we get to fight alongside him. I think it might not because I think Master Chief left Reach as soon as the attack started, he went on a mission someplace else in space. If I remember correctly. But they have to have at least an appearance by him.
This game will be the most feature filled game of this year, hands down. Who knows, maybe even for the next couple years no game will be able to match the amount of features in Halo: Reach. Most games haven't even caught up to Halo 3 in terms of things you can do.
I don't think people are taking into account that you only need 1 camera and 4 people can use it. If you buy wii remotes or the Move, you are obviously going to buy more than one for multiplayer. I think a price between $120-$150 is justified in terms of that. I think the price will come down to if it's actually fun to play and use.
I think Kinect may be between $120-$150. If they impress me enough at gamescom, I would definitely pick it up. So far, the dashboard navigation alone has interested me and my friends.
Rage looks unbelievable, those graphics are amazing looking. It was never on my radar before, but it has definitely got my interest now. Not just for the graphics.
I think Microsoft just dragged some things on too long with their conference. They should have shown Child of Eden and Sonic on Kinect. They took too long with ESPN, Video Kinect and that fitness game. It isn't out yet and I'm sure they have more to show so it isn't easy to judge until I get to try it myself. I don't have a PS3 and Move is not swaying me at all to buy one, but the games definitely are.
I think Microsoft was smart to air it on TV so that it reaches all the other people who normally don't play games. People are going to be interested when they see somebody controlling their TV with their hands and voice. Not everybody plays games like us, or even care about gaming period. The games might not look good to us, but the non gamers might be very interested in this.
Again, they confirm it works while sitting. It seems that the dashboard navigation is really cool, and functions as it should.
Sitting down on your couch with a controller in your hand, slouching over makes you look real cool doesn't it?

haha, ya that part was horrible. I don't even have a wii, but I just enjoyed their conference the most. I am looking forward to Kinect, just hoping something for the hardcore gets shown.
The customization is firefight surprised me, you can make your own skulls, which enemies to fight, how aggressive enemies are, weapons, etc. And then you can put it all up on fileshare. Adding matchmaking to firefight was a no brainer and it will be addicting.
I was worried for a sec, because I think some of the hardcore games, if there are any would probably let you sit down. In one of the interviews with Chris Lewis, he said voice command and hand gestures can compliment a controller. So most likely you would be sitting down. I highly doubt they would make you stand up to tell the xbox to pause a movie. It's common sense that it depends on the game, of course you have to stand to play sports games and dance games on Kinect. I am very interest...
I think he said you can use a controller as well. Using kinect looked awesome with Child of Eden though, they should have opened Microsoft conference with that.
Damn, this game could bring in some girls and have us guys watch the girls play for once.
