Can't wait, got my points ready to buy the maps tomorrow.
I don't think they are doing that this time around. I think I read somewhere where they said that they will just have a system to know if all the players have the map then give it as an option.
I have all the Halo games except Halo PC. I bought Halo Wars a while ago, but I'm not an RTS guy, I played the first couple missions then just stopped. It might be a good game, just not my type.
I just bought splosion man, heard its really good.
The title states that he hates the game, then in the first couple of sentenced he goes on to contradict himself.
I guess the story can be a bit of a mess to some people. I have read a few of the books, Fall of Reach was awesome, and they really do enhance the games for me. I actually read the journal that came with Reach's limited edition and it reveals a lot of stuff I had no idea about previously.
@ Thief
Forza's online is much more. I don't know why the article didn't mention all the customization options in Forza. You can set up different gametypes to play online. It's much more than just racing.
Why do you have to level up to get damage on your cars, does that really make any sense?
I'm not hating on GT5, its most definitely a great game, it just pisses me off when people just disregard how great a game Forza is, even though the d...
I wasn't sure about the lag either but I got a chance at trying at Kinect and Kinect Adventures at Best Buy as well. You don't notice the lag at all once you start playing it. At one point, a 50-60 year old guy started asking me about it and just when he came up to me, the screen split into two. He joined in with me, it was hilarious.
All people have to do is submit the video of someone using it to Bungie. I think they will find out a way to detect people using it though.
GT5 looks amazing, you can definitely tell the differences between the games. Forza also looks stunning every time I play it. How much further can developers go in terms of car graphics?
Hopefully this is in effect in Canada as well, even though Black Friday is US only. Although, a few retailers in Canada are actually having black Friday sales, such as EB Games.
Neil Blomkamp should direct it, District 9 was awesome as well as all those Halo shorts. And all those props by Wingnut are phenomenal.
The only reason I like watching it is for the announcements, hopefully there will be some big ones this year.
I don't agree with the author on this issue. I think true gamers should support the industry, if you want to go the cheaper way, which I do occasionally, then you will get what you pay for. I'm probably alone on this. I got Forza 3 used, the codes were redeemed already, but I don't blame Microsoft for it.
It's too damn early for the game in my opinion.
I saw the trailer and the facial animations are amazing. I never knew they would be possible yet, but it shows that developers are really starting to push new technology.
Whatever this mysterious game is, I think we as gamers can all agree, that it will be awesome.
I think it would change the gaming industry for the worse. Competition drives companies to do better for the consumers. If it was just Sony, they would have control over the hardcore market while Nintendo would control the casual market. I don't even think Nintendo considers Microsoft and Sony competition right now.
The lack of competition will drive prices higher, quality may not be as great as it is either. I think when Microsoft entered the market, the video game industry reall...
Of course PS3 and PC players will get it eventually. I guess Microsoft is really trying to justify the price of Xbox Live. I don't really have a problem, though I wish we had some type of service similar to ESPN in Canada.
I might pick one up next month, if I don't get one, oh well. I'm not really in a hurry.
Why do people complain when games stay the same, and complain when the games change. I'm loving Reach's online more than Halo 3, which I barely played at all online.
