yeah my feelings exactly. i think the wii has got the kids/girls toy/gimmick arm flapping market pretty well covered , I'd have preferred to see the effort go on something worthwhile for gamers instead.
i guess i made it about two thirds of the way through before finally admitting to myself that actually this game is a huge dissapiontment and a waste of time and money. It's not so much decision making as pure chance as to wether or not you will understand what they want you to do with the controller in time. I never chose to let any of the characters die. extrememly limited exploration and only a frustratingly shallow level of control of the short scenes proved to be no fun at all in the end...

my biggest issue is that for 40 quid i haven't really got much of an actual game to play. so i feel it is poor value for money. a movie on dvd costs about 10 quid , i'd be happy to pay 20 for heavy rain. great for what it is though.
making everything unfvcking playable if psn goes down, not immpressed at all.

surely this is a matter of choice though. I did reload a scene to play it differently. but i didn't have to.
im still on first playthrough, i started off feeling it was a 7/10 , now i'm thinking more. 8/10, unfortunately , value for money clouds my judgment. If i was rich, or it was half the price, My feelings would be more along the lines of , wow! this is different! how interesting! unusual etc. as it is i feel a little deprived of having a playable game in the traditional sense to go back to and have fun with, there have been some really great moments so far though so maybe my opinion will change...
the problem is after the 80's, music, style etc becomes engulfed by black culture and depressing irritating rap etc , this is why agent will be so cool, because it is set in the 1970's ....no rap or low life thug culture , or gimped 360 limitations.

home just gets better and better , my personal favorite is the alien. i'm suprised there isn't more coverage of home , it's a great social and gaming space.
