i get where your coming from madjedi and for most of my life i live like that myself. actually 99% of my mates are str8 and i don't go anywhere like gay bars or any of that, but also I think it's a good thing to have one or two games (out of 100's) especially role playing games where sexuality is dealt with, to just just give a little nod towards gays etc especially if it's done well or with humour. I knew a lovely guy who was not a right on activist or anything who was murder...
the good thing about aus is they have those fit lifegaurds who pull their speedos right up their bum cracks for some reason. the bad thing is they have those MASSIVE spiders called hunsmen that come in your house and run about 200 mph . i would need adult nappies. seriously.
It's sad to hear that Rockstar can be shitty employers though.
based on the demo , i hated the first too, it just seemed like a bad ps2 game with a guy leaping about like a crab, but then i downloaded the whole game for free recently and loved it, haven't tried 2 yet tho.
btw this um...review or blog opinion or whatever it is, seems really cynical like he's written it in a bad mood or something.
yeah it's cool. my character is a gay and he has heavily flirted with a couple of guys , but he's only had sex with a male prostitute who wasn't attractive tbh. but he was desperate so i let him. you don't see anything explicit, just the sit on a bed fade out thing, but it's the thought that counts. flirting is more fun. I sort of gave up on the game though cos the crashing was just a bit too often for my stress levels. keep meaning to finish it.
i would of loved FC2 if it didn't have respawning enemies. sounds like the issues are being fixed in this game...fingers crossed.
@ reed thanks for explaining and replying that's interesting. i do occasionally play a game on pc. i had a go at kings quest 3 remake recently and also tried that hitman game, roller coaster tycoon was very enjoyable. anyway, thanks for explaining.
@ reed thanks for the screens and i'm honestly pleased you get a lot of enjoyment out of pc gaming but personally i could not be arsed with all the hassle for what? crysis ? and a couple of multiplats that look photorealistic? the updating tweaking expense and hassle are not worth it to me. Then of course you get your high end PC working just right and a few months later a new card comes out and yours isn't the best anymore..do you spend out and replace the card (and drivers etc etc) ...
i've got flow and flower but have only seen a vid of journey. i should have written that I am still going to download it when it is released. Although (from what i've seen) it's the same game play mechanic ie collecting stuff that makes a graphic grow longer, but hopefully it is more than that. Flower was quite a beautiful and surprisingly emotional game, especially the last stage. Flow was a 30 min novelty. So I do like where the series is going.
it's the same as flow and flower essentially. you float towards pretty collectibles that makes your character grow a long tail with ambient sound and visuals. It's cool but not new. it's flow version 1.3. I'm still downloading it though
i was worried for a minute, from the title i thought that uc3 might be like COD in some way. COD has become like the farmville of FPS ie everyone plays it but it's shit

clearly exclusives arn't dead and that's a good thing because exclusives have the opportunity to make the most out of whatever hardware they are made for so gamers do benefit from them.
