I think there is more to it than the not being HD. The wii was the cheap(er) kids/girls fad that was also chosen by a lot of parents, relatives etc as a cheap gift. Well I'm a Sony fan (sort of) and I agree with you. To some extent anyway. It's true about the law of diminishing returns. i.e. ...it takes a large jump in hardware power for a significant increase in graphics and frame rate. I'm sure there will be 1st party studios who eke out the most from each system. The competition is good for all of us.
