COD is like the mc donalds of video games .. and mc donalds are just public toilets that sell burgers
same here ... i played the sp of the ww2 one and mw2 .. then someone lent me the one where you go online and theres a plane and i just kept getting stabbed in the neck before i could even find my bearings. i gave up after a while. I love you by the way .. random internet love
I've played a couple of the earlier COD's single player... but not really into war shooters and definitely not online COD. I'm pleased you enjoy them (heavy rain etc) . I kind of like the idea but not the implementation. And I find Cage's enthusiasm for himself a bit odious.
that's interesting ... i wanted to play duke nuken after seeing that you had to put your finger into an anus to open a door, but was put off by reviews. I agree with you though, it can't be as bad as COD. My personal worst game this gen was heavy rain.
heavy rain scored well because it attempted to do something different (even though it was shit) Beyond assholes is getting bad reviews because being different isn't good enough in itself ... not twice... it has to be an interesting story and the 'interaction' has to work well. David Cage has dined out enough on his(?) idea and the industry is just trying to calm his ego a bit. He might be good as a less prominent part of a development team maybe
gamers can be such a horny , open minded , try anything sort crowd. I want you all inside me one after the other until i look like a painters radio.

he's a self aggrandised douche
I agree to an extent. The thing is I really would love an interactive movie type of adventure if it was done different to this. I thought heavy rain was a mess and there is no way I'm going near this one based on what I've read already , it is at least as bad as heavy rain.
It seems that people decided to love this game before hand and they are damn well not going to change their opinion. I felt the same about heavy rain... then after a couple of hours of playing it I let go and admitted it was shit.
jayson jason jason JAYSON JAYSON .... oh fucking drown the kid already
just goes to show that M$ are the real spastics .. not the handicaps
after playing heavy rain , i'm never going near anything david cage makes again .. he is a deluded self promoter
yeah was gutted. I had some special version with extra content too with a pre order deal. It feels weird being in such a small minority of opinion on a game. It's not like I'm some chavvy xbox fan COD idiot either. I like adventure games. There are worse games ..but I've never been so disappointed by a big well reviewed game before. I think that's why I feel so venomous about it. Some elements of it were good...Jaydens glasses (was it jayden? the younger detective guy) Um what...
well said. 'pretentious' and 'shoddy' describe heavy rain perfectly. It's not that I hate the pacing or idea of heavy rain ..but it's implementation was very poor. I agree about David Cage too. I was very hyped about heavy rain and the thought of some sort of visionary artist producing a game. Then I played it . I forced myself to finish it against the yawns and the tears (of utter boredom) running down my face. Never again.
I thought heavy rain was a POS .
1. There were several plot holes.
2. depending how the game turned out for you there were spoilers at the end affecting replay value.
3. how the story branched depended on some confusing button mashing qte's
4 . The gameplay seemed inconsistent and unevenly patched together.
5. it was boring and slow.
bye the end of the game i wanted all the fucking charac...
The wii sales went to their heads. The game cube was a nice little console... but the wii was a POS to be honest. From my personal experience it sold well because it was a cheap gift but I never saw anyone who owned one playing with it much. It was a fad. All they would have to do is produce a simple , gimmick free console. Nicely designed, reliable... with a core set of 1st party games done well (including metroid..good idea) and they would be back on form.
ornamental girl talking about tiny collectible plastic cartoon characters or something
dear Nintendo go back to concentrating on games not gimmicks
that's horrible ! is it the gibs me dat gansta types we read about or is it ordinary gamers with guns?
