I'm surprised. Congratulations to Microsoft for getting 2 Kinect games to top the charts. Kinect seems to be live and well. That's a great achievement. Microsoft clearly dominated Europe this time around, for that my hat is tipped. Landing 5 games in the top 10 charts.
I am also happy to see Nintendo 3DS exclusive Mario Kart 7 remain in the top 10. The only handheld title that made the top chart, and it happens to be a Nintendo 3DS game. Showing the true staying power...
Speak for yourself. I had plenty of fun with Unreal Tournament 3. It has been greatly overshadowed by more mainstream popular shooters, but I still got my moneys worth.
Now that I think about it... I didn't mention UT3 in my comment above. So where did that random burst of negativity come from?

Its actually an amazing game. Its just that these days the competition in the realm of the 1st person shooter is at an all time high. COD, Gears, and Halo over shodow most shooter offerings. And since Unreal Tournament has always been known as a PC game it never stuck with the console crowd.
Say what you must but I had and still have a great time with Unreal Tournament 3. Even if I am usually forced to play against bots.

The Xbox 360 did an amazing job topping the charts. Also a special shout out to the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system for performing well as the number 1 handheld device for the week in the UK. The videogame industry looks nice and healthy and I hope that things continue on a positive note.
A pat on the back for Starwars, a Kinect only title leading the way in the software department as well. I am always happy to see Microsofts Kinect succeed.

With the Financial struggles that Sony face today, the man has a slight chance in being correct. I think this guy talks a tad bit too much trash about capcom, and Japan as a whole. As Long as Nintendo is around Japan will never see complete failure in videogame culture. I can see him being upset with Capcom because they make some interesting decisions, but not even all of their games are bad. They still rule the fighting game arena. The upcoming Resident Evil 6 looks amazing so far as well.

I usually don't agree with the need for ultra superior graphics are needed statements. But I trust Epic Games and will support them on PC. Console, or wherever they decide to take their work. If I am to play a shooter, It will be from Epic because Gears and Unreal Tournament are the best shooters I have played since the Legendary Halo Franchise.
Here's hopes that they develop an Unreal Tournament 4. No matter what platform it lands on. Day one purchase.

F-Zero is one of the greatest if not the greatest futuristic racing titles ever developed. I still play F-Zero GX on my Nintendo Gamecube entertainment system to this very day. The replay value is endless, and I have never hovered across so many excellent well done hand crafted courses in my Nintendo career. I cannot wait for a next generation future release of this title.

I believe that Japanese developers do think that their games are better than the rest. Most of the time I believe that they are correct. Japanese developers still have healthy variety in their games, and they continue to innovate.

Nintendo has done a fine job this month overall with the sales of the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system. Its nice to see that America is still in touch with the handheld movement even though the sales lean more toward home consoles. Nintendos handheld division has done an amazing job on the charts once more. Landing an entire six seats in the official top 10 software charts. Even squeezing an original Nintendo DS entertainment system title in as well. All games exclusive to the Nintendo platform selling amazingly well. It has come quite clear that through bleeding edge hardware, great innovation, and Nintendos golden software standards, Nintendo dominates the new generation handheld scene without question.
F-Zero is probably my most anticipated title for the Nintendo Wii U. I still play F-Zero for the gamecube to this day. My body is not prepared for the possibilities on the Nintendo Wii U. I am prepared to be blown away.

I was just taking into account that the Wii has always been sold at a very low price. And I believe the annual subscription fee of xbox live is making a killing for the 360. 50 dollars a year from about 30 to 40 million subscriptions is insane. Plus the other income they make from the various innovations of live.
I know Nintendo is doing perfectly fine with the Wii 3DS combo. The sales charts tell the tale in that regard.

When it comes to the headline I would place Microsoft in 1st place. As of now they make $115 per xbox sold plus the live subscription fee is pure profit. Plus a very high games attach ratio.
