This is a sad and tradgic time for the state of gaming. May we bow our heads and pray for a quick and safe recovery for the godfather of gaming aka Nintendo.

Though Nintendo has posted its 1st loss ever, the elite Nintendo gamers of the world will all work together to support Nintendo through this horrid time and make this the official last loss ever for the house of Nintendo.

With the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system already breaking records worldwide, and ...

When it comes to online vs offline media. Yes I am happy to see great single player titles crack the top. But usually only land on the charts when newly released. The games that linger around the longest are usually online shooters, mmos, and sports. You can look at the charts for yourself for the truth.

All I am saying is that with people shifting more toward online experiences at a rapit pace. Sooner or later all things are pointing to complete domination with online titles...

9 of 10 games on the top 10 charts is nothing short of breath taking. A complete all around dominant success for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS entertainment system. Leading a massive coordinated strike of exclusive titles granting the Nintendo brand complete battlefield control in Japan.

This chart proves that exclusives do matter in the gaming industry, and flex the pure muscle of Nintendo staying power and brand awareness. Nintendo 3DS entertainment exclusive smashed th...

@darkride66

This was a simple hardware chart to congratulate the success of moved gaming platforms, and somehow you turned this into an I hate Nintendo post..

Is someone upset over the success of Nintendo?

No need for it man, let's just enjoy the outstanding numbers that Nintendo has posted with the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system. Instead of gasping for straws trying to downplay Nintendos success for no reason at all. I hope that you p...

You have done a fine job so far with your Nintendo 3DS entertainment system library. There are many more exclusive titles available now wherever games are sold, but you seem to have purchased the titles that fit you. And a fine job you have done.

Nintendo 3DS entertainment system exclusive Mario 3D Land being my favorite on the list so far.

E3 2012 will provide us with more information regarding the future of Nintendo releases for our gaming pleasure.

The Nintendo 3DS entertainment system had a fantastic showing in Japan this week. Absolutely dominating in regards of hardware. Showing growth over the dominating numbers the device posted last week of about 20,000 more units.

The Nintendo 3DS entertainment system shows once again that it is clearly the gaming platform of choice for the elite Nintendo gamers of Japan. Outselling all competing consoles combined for a grand total that outperforms anything in its path. Not only ...

You have a good point but that was because it was a new release. Realistically when it comes to chart topping staying power. You know just as much as I do what games will linger at the top.

Judging by sales of whats popular now, and the types of games that usually top the charts. The EA sports boss may be correct in most cases. If things continue this way with the takeover of the military shooter, MMO titles, and sports games, he may be completely right someday.

A game that is single player only has to be groundbreaking to make it in the industry today. Especially if its a new IP.

Master Miyamoto the Lord and Savior of great innovation.

Wherever he may go after Nintendo, he will transform that said place into a legendary powerhouse with his graceful touch. The workers of that said company will have no choice but to kneel before his stroll down the red carpet to innovate a new product.

With that said no he is not going to mobile.

I agree with this whole list besides the Halo franchise. The Halo franchise is the most influential, successful exclusive 1st person shooter franchise in the world today. With each iteration the Halo franchise provides new ideas and innovations that usually go on to set new standards for the FPS genre in the future. Also to this very day there has never been an inferior release in the Halo universe.

Many games have been labeled "Halo killer" in the past that have go...

The game has already been made. And if you have ever played Pikmin in your life, you would understand the necessary add of the Nintendo Wiimote feature. Stop your crying and negativity and show some respect. You dont like.. you dont buy.

Lord Miyamoto Master and Savior of gaming innovation would frown upon your last statement

Its about time this happened. I have been waiting for the day I could play through both with the motion control setup, which does wonders for the Nintendo platform exclusive Pikmin franchise. Now when the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system launches pikmin 3, the first two will be backward compatable titles. Everything can run smoothly without the need to hook up past consoles. Which would result in leaving your entertainment center looking like a decepticon just to enjoy the full Pikmin expe...

Wipeout, Need For Speed, and Ridge Racer.

A long time ago when the ps1 launched I liked Wipeout, it was one of the 1st games that I purchased for my ps1. It was cool, a fresh rival to the Fzero franchise, and had an cool techno vibe to it. Almost 20 years later the title has not evolved a bit and launches with every single playstation console with just updated graphics bringing nothing new or innovative to the table. It launches with pretty graphics and is swept under the rug...

I usually play my rts games on PC. But for a strictly console rts, I would place Halo Wars at the very top of the pack. If there is a greater rts on console today that you could tell me about, I would be more than happy to try it out.
