Driveclub didn't get a low meta score because it was compared to Forza, it got a low meta score because it lacked enough features that are expected at this point in gaming.
Game looks good but gameplay screenshots are still on par with Forza 6. Hate all you may want, but I ahve taken screen shots of both in true gameplay and Forza 6 looks just as good and its running 1080p 60fps. Lets not ignore that the inside cockpit in Forza 6 looks by far better than that in Driveclub.

Sony has been anti-consumer since the start of this generation.
While gamers are still holding a grudge at MS for their pre-launch vision that never even made it into post launch, gamers are supporting Sony by buying the PS4 where Sony charges for everything and refuses the value of other features to ensure it doesn't compete with their own anti-consumer offerings.
This generation of "gamers" is the worst one yet.

Whats the point? Uncharted has always been linear gameplay but many devs have said this is the best way to have the gamer follow a story driven game.

Yoshida has already said PS4 can only do 4K playback, not games.
Larry Hyrb (major nelson) has said Xbox One can do 4K.
Once DX12 is available to all Devs, the Xbox One will have the abilities for Tiled Resources which will help with 4K resolution. Xbox One also has Cloud Computing which will help with offloading AI and physics.
PS4 won't do 4K. Xbox One will once all the features have been unlocked through Win10+DX12.

The PS4 has been selling real well with utter crap for games outside of Bloodborne. PS4 has been nothing more than a port station filled with indies and multiplats for what will be going into its 3rd year on the market.
Lets hope the big games Sony are boasting don't delayed like Driveclub, Bloodborne and The Order.
I bought a PS4 at launch and it has been nothing but a serious disappoint...
I still enjoyed Dante's inferno more than I did God Of War.
