Devs don't care because it's not the same code going from PC to PS3 or PS4.
With Win10, what ever game you make for one systems will right away work for all other systems because Win10 devices will be unified.
Porting a PC game on Win10 will work almost right away for the XB1 because it too will be on Win10. This makes it easy for Devs because it won't cost any extra development costs.

The Last guardian which not only showed archived demo gameplay from 8 years ago, but there is still talk that the game won't release until 2017..and possibly not at all
And then of course Shenmue 3 which was a kickstarter meaning the game hadn't even started development yet...lets not forget that Sony duped the consumers about this game....WHICH the kick...

Shareplay the biggest feature on next gen? Sorry but MS now have 2 features that surpass playshare.
1 - family sharing. This is where you can share your entire library with someone. They can download the WHOLE game right to their system, no streaming required and no time limits. You can play together at the same time, online.
2 - Backwards Compatibility, being able to play your last gen games on current gen consol...

EAAccess was and is NOT a money deal with MS. Sony turned it down saying they didn't see the value in it for their customers...when really they didn't want it to compete with PSnow.

This is good that Sony is investing in this game.
This is Sony's answer to MS's Killer Instinct since Sony doesn't have their own fighter on the PS4 yet so this is a great investment.
MS investing in Tomb Raider to be their answer to Uncharted 4 since MS don't have their own adventure title.
So just like how SFV will be exclusive to Sony, Rise Of The Tomb Raider will be exclusive to MS.

Actually, the more consumers buy digital and less physical the sooner prices will drop.
We are already seeing EAaaccess offer amazing value to their subscribers and its digital.
Sony offers savings with PS+ and MS have their huge sales week that just passed.
Digital prices for launch titles are equal to their retail version because companies want parity with pricing. If there were no physical copies sold at retail, digital would be much chea...
Yet Sony believes the demand is strong enough to charge users outlandish prices for PS now to play last gen titles...

Sony can't do true Backwards Compatibility which is why they went the digital streaming route. They didn't think MS could achieve true Backwards Compatibility so Sony had to make the claim nobody plays past gen titles.
Now, those with 360s can trade them in and get $100+ ...

This is very true. XB1 won't catch PS4 worldwide. Maybe it will capture North America and UK again but that will be the extent.
Why the PS4 is selling so well is beyond my understanding. With very little AAA exclusive content for 2013, 2014 and 2015 and a lot less features as the XB1 AND a much worse online network AND no EAACCESS AND having to pay terrible prices for streaming old games (and calling that Backwards Compatible) it amazes me why the PS4 sells so well. ...
Ya...if only at the beginning of this console generation there was a company that would allow you to transfer or sell your digital copies at the low low expectations that you would check in to ensure the license of the sold digital copy is your copy....
But that would be forward thinking way too much and I doubt the majority of the gaming market is intelligent enough to see the benefits without flipping out and calling for that companies head....
