I believe they will have a constant big percentage rise of "new users" going forward since Xbox Studios' multiplatform push. Most people know they need to move to Playstation if PC is not preferable and it's a "sooner rather than later" approach. Next gen PS6 is set for even higher numbers.
The other box and its fans are always trying to change the narrative and Phil Spencer is King of that. While we're just sitting back laughing at them and collecting even more and more games. Playstation gamers are winning so much now it's crazy. Now that Sony is mostly going away from that pathetic live service push, we're going to see great things for the rest of this gen and the next.
I was hoping they would do this. I really want to play this game again on super hard difficulty, and now the new content and added enemies to the hordes. Good stuff

That State of Play streaming on the Playstation youtube account had the official Japanese voice on perfectly with english subs. Strange that now the seperated trailer has the english dub. It looks awful compared to the Japanese voice.

edit: I did read an interesting theory from someone on reddit. Sony has recently taken down all those "jumping taco" or "tapping mayonaise jar" type games that flood the PSN and is putting a stop to them, or something like that and then all of a sudden this potential ddos attack happened. This person thought they were connected and said these companies that make all these riduclous easy ...
Sometimes I feel like paying someone to do the annoying braindead grindy trophies that don't take skill, they just take hours and hours and hours of your time doing something completely boring and mundane. I've even thought about paying my little nephew to do the most boring repetitive shit in a game just to get a certain trophy. I love trophies, but I hate those kind of trophies.

I think 100% they will make a next gen console. Phil already said as much. Even if they deep down don't want to, they damn well have to, to save face. I even 60% believe they will have one the gen after next.

But it's ok guys. I heard Microsoft doesn't give a damn about their own console numbers getting flushed down the drain. The same console where the vast majority of their Game Pass subscribers live. Apparently all the fans and Microsoft themselves don't care at all. Doesn't bother them if they don't sell another Xbox console. I hope this is true. It means it will be of a higher quality and no microtransactions in the single player game. They can also get back-up support from Sony if and when they need it.
Man I hope this is true. Arkham Knight was so much fun and a great Platinum to get. Just give us MORE Batman. It's what most of us want. None of this multiplayer shit
