I think the issue is GTs requires online to save your progress, this including single player "offline". So what happen if u r doing endurance race and u got disconnected? Seem like a very questionable design choice.
one of the best indie games that I have played so far this gen (presentation is top notch in my opinion). Pretty challenging and I died quite a few times (that is just with the first boss) but it is really about pattern recognition and require patients (rage will likely get you kill more often) and quite fair. Those who like these genra should check it out.

If you throw away the word exclusive completely, then all you see are games (regardless of what they are on). Your decision on what to get then most likely based entirely on what you like without any external influences from anyone else (corporate, friends, fans, etc..).

Well you are asking a business company not to do business. It is kinda silly. Anyhow, Sony focus is on SP, not multiplayer so apparently cross play isn't necessary. And looking at this site, it seems most of them don't want to play with other people anyway, either because of whiny kids or worst whiny adult, so it is kinda of a moot point.

exclusive is what killing software. Ask any developers if any of them want to keep their software lock to one device only, if they have a choice. Exclusive only serve to benefit the hardware, not software. Why would you think being exclusive to a single console (limiting consumers from accessing them) is in anyway or form beneficial for the software and their developers?

Because u don't understand the issue with the original game. The MP portion is tied in with your SP. However, it does take a long time in SP to get you to where u can start creating your own arsenal of skills. If you did not reach that point, you are stuck with random arsenal and have no control over what you can bring into battle. The bread and butter of PD MP is creating your arsenal.
