I also disagree, nor was it a 'quick' cash in, this has taken years and years of Kaos' lives to create, and imo they've found a perfect balance between the accessibility of CoD and scale of BF.
The majority of people chatting shit don't even own the game. The multiplayer is awesome fun.
The 375k was in the US alone.
Kudos to TitanReviews for a non bias fair review and for calling out the ridiculous amount of haters. I think the problem was too many anti-mainstream cod haters jumped on Homefront expecting it to be greatest game of all time, and due to ridiculous expectations were let down.
I've been having an absolute blast with the online. Currently level 27 i'm hooked. And everyone I speak too is loving the online also.
5? Really PS Lifestyle? Nice one.
The Multiplayer is absolutely fantastic, everyone seems to be having a blast with it.
This is not a pricedrop related to sales. It's just plain logic, the game hasn't been out anywhere near long enough for a retailer to even consider dropping sales, it just doesn't make sense. Many UK stores were selling the game for £30 rather than £40, not because of sales, but because they can and often do on launch week.
Really really irritates me how much of a hit multiple reviews are giving Homefront due to it's pretty average singleplayer campaign. The multiplayer is robust and damn fun, it actually brings new things to the table and is an absolute blast.
Shadowrun is one of my favorite 360 games of all time, yet it's metacritic is 66 due to a pretty non-existent singleplayer. It seems if you make a good singleplayer title with an average mp and it's perfectly fine, yet make a ...
It's still different, you can buy something on the fly such as an RPG just in the middle of battle. It's a neat system and a great way to manage 'killstreak' style things in a balanced fashion.
Having an absolute blast with the multiplayer, it's a ton of fun!
At the end of the day they are just someones opinion. I think the average consensus is generally much better to go by, but even that can completely differ to your personal opinion. Noone should ever base their purchases on one review.
Tried and tested way to judge a game is - play it yourself!
Thanks for that Youtube based opinion.
Shadowrun got a 7 and that's still my favorite 360 game. He does state about the multiplayer being great fun - that's all I care about.
Seems like a rushed lazy one. Look forward to Digital Foundrys Comparison, always very technical and in-depth.
Unreal Engine texture fade in. Installing the game to 360 will no doubt stop that, play something like Borderlands and it takes a couple of seconds to fade in then when installed you don't even notice it.
Other than that no AA used whatsoever on PS3 version is a shame. Getting it on 360 anyway myself as that's where my buddies all are playing it.
Indeed the embargo is not till next week. I know a few buddies who've managed to get copies in the UK from knowing people who work in retailers so they're certainly out there to obtain in a legit way.
Yep after Desert Combat they were hired by EA to work on BF2, which after it was released EA got rid of them.
I find his comments regarding N4G pretty amusing, simply because they're completely true.
Finally! This is a pretty fun game to mess about with in short amounts. Will be quite enjoyable with a few friends just hanging out I'd imagine.
This has been out for a long long time?
Kudos to Crytek, both versions look almost identical
