I'd much rather them focus on the online than the singleplayer which i'll play through once and never again. Homefront's focus is quite clearly on the MP, these guys come from an MP background after working on BF2 on PC.

Disappointing but hey it was bound to happen. The leaked PC version is still unplayable apparently though, I don't believe a crack has been released.
Really hope there's a demo this week, they confirmed one a long time ago but have since gone quiet on it.
All these games are already out in HD on the 360 and PC...
Tablav is right. I've played the UK PAL version for review and had an absolutely awesome time with it. It's certainly not for everyone, and has its issues, but is a gigantic improvement over the first in almost every way. Such a shame Topware have handled this launch horrifically. They'll do well to even get many sales at all, which is a huge shame as the title really deserves better.
Looking forward to this hitting next week, any excuse to jump back into Torchlight!

@Too Pawned - both FF14 and PSU only required silver membership to XBL. Any MMO that comes to the platform will NOT require a Gold Membership ontop of a sub.

It seems like a good idea on paper but I can't help be pessimistic that these missions will feel very structured/rigid in comparison to the main ones.
That said the ability to place enemies and objects sounds like they're on the right track!

This surprises me, I admit I've dabbled in Farmville and the game just seems like a 1-2 minute burst every few hours unless your shoveling money into it!

Great game, it's pretty refreshing from the repetitive military shooters we see so much of recently. However I've run into alot of glitches, getting stuck in the environment forcing me to restart checkpoint. In around 7 hours for the campaign I got stuck 7 times.
The Anarchy coop mode is good fun too especially if your with a group of 3 friends which you actually know and can communicate with.
Exactly what I was thinking. It seemed they picked the worst picture of the lot for the front of the article, then if you actually view the gallery full of the new screenshots it looks decent, not spectacular no but certainly good enough.

You need the disk to launch it from. The Gears 3 Beta option is not there on the standard edition.

Indeed block anyone using pirated games from using the system as that's certainly not right, but he said it himself he purposely didn't release the original version with the ability to do this. Nor does he support that. It's spot on that Sony are only trying to send a message with this guy, you don't see Apple QQ'ing and attempting to sue him.
