Since I don't believe you have prejudice against this game or system it is on I will respond to you first.
I understand how people could be turned off by the game. Even I became a little bored of the constant wave of wave enemy fights, but still loved the franchise for the story and multiplayer.
Also, it was Gary Jules' Mad World and yes the commercial was still pretty epic. I get goosebumps every time I watch it.

Well the last one he created had tremendous success in sales and critical acclaim. It was also one of the best new series created this gen, arguably better than any other new franchise this gen.
I guess my point is, I'm ok with that if it is just as good.

Already get HBO on my 360. That with NFL for Xbox one hopefully means no more cable and just paying for those. I really hope it can work that way so I can cut my cable bill down.
Not trying to take away for TLOU, love the game, but how old is the 360 version of Minecraft? Because it is right up there.

So your main complaint, is that it is a spam fest that requires no thinking. But, then complain that the gameplay is too fast to think properly.
I think the real problem is your inability to perform quick thinking.
Games are so much harder when you get to think about what move to do for 10 min.

This and the Order were the only two games intriguing me for PS4, and if this does end up being an exclusive I might have to buy a PS4 sooner than I thought I would.
Where is all this Zelda MM hate coming from? I always thought it was an underrated game that had elements that differed from all the previous zeldas.
I do generally agree with the rest of your list, except depending on which COD games you are referring to and that I thought the entire Gears story was underrated especially Gears 2.

The Sega Dreamcast sold over 10 million units in just over 2 years. Not agreeing with Pachter about it being dead but don't generalize to make your point, it will make you look like a fool.
Dreamcast: 2 yrs, 10 mil units = Dead
Vita: 2 yrs, ~5 mil units = Alive?

I argued with my friends that we should just wait till the next gen version is out but they don't want to wait three months. Now I can buy the 360 version then upgrade three months later.
Also this is perfect for someone not getting their next gen console till christmas. That way they can still enjoy their favorite games without have to pay $120 + tax.
Not at all, Counter Strike isn't the most impressive game graphically, but, as you stated, it is very popular due to the fun gameplay. But, it didn't gain it's huge popularity until after Valve teamed up with the initial modders so that kind of defeats the indie point.
While it is popular and fun to play by looking objectively at every game ever made there is a slight chance Counter Strike might break the top 50 but that is unlikely. Again I am not saying indie ...
First popular =/= quality. Second I even stated that not every AAA title beats every indie title, so I don't see the point in bringing up that argument. Third, Counter Strike is not even close to a best game ever made.
