Take game off of Easy and set it to Legendary, your problem is fixed.
Halo for casuals? Your right, all those casuals that decided to pick up the more expensive Xbox, that was extremely less popular than the PS2 that everyone owned.
Storyline: Virus takes over people creating an outbreak causing humans to turn into monsters. Not original or dynamic.
Gameplay: sneaking, shooting, or melee. Dynamic yes, original no.
Characters: Older man who is hard trusting because of past events and a young girl who is mature beyond her years. Not original.
These words you keep using, I do not think they mean what you think they mean.
I agree with your last sentence...
Goldeneye, the game, based on the movie of the same name, based on a character created in 1953, has more originality than Halo?
Your opinion = worthless.
I won't even bring in the KZ vs Halo aspect of that statement, as Halo has won that by almost every aspect of measurement you could use.
There is a big difference between needed patches and received patches.
Many games from that era needed patches badly, there was just no good way of doing it at the time.

You made a great point, up until the point you went bat**** crazy on the USA.
I'm pretty sure most countries are responsible for more deaths than Hitler, I just can't think of one person who is responsible for more.
PS: You should check out History some time, no one had better PR and Propaganda then Nazi Germany. Hell, if I remember correctly Poland(may be another country near Germany) voted for Hitler to control them.
One simple Google search will tell you emulators are almost entirely legal, while ROMs are legal if you own the actual copy.
I could walk right up to Nintendo show them my PC with Snes emulator, Super Mario All-stars ROM, and the actual game. And, guess what? No legal ramifications.
Edit: Just as some more info, the more you dig into software copyright infringement the more it becomes extremely unclear. The Supreme Court has tried several times to come up...
You don't know much about Emulators/Roms do you?

That doesn't stop the game from being primarily X jump, Square hit, Triangle power attack, and O grab. You use those buttons the most with really, I believe, R2 as power and L2 as item.
Those four buttons are not the only used buttons and neither is it for Ryse. If your real qualm is with the QTE, then make fun of that, even though they are not mandatory and you can kill enemies without them just like GOW.
It's called being concise, any fault the reader has reading an article, minus ignorance of the subject, is due to the author not presenting the information in a clear cut manner.
I guess there are also just idiots who wouldn't understand anything you wrote, but the main point being conciseness is key.
A lot of your posts seem intelligent but tend to be a little drawn out. That may have worked in High School English to make a paper longer, but not h...
I could be completely wrong here, but I always held the belief, and thought it to be the popular opinion, that Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory was miles above any other Splinter Cell.(OK, not miles better then Pandora Tomorrow, but still better)
Was that the one where it is basically the same plot as taken, or was that the second one? If it was the second one, what was the first one about.
Been so long since I read them.
@hellsvacancy
Isn't that the exact plot for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Did you play UC3, cause it wasn't as good as UC2.
Halo 4 was miles better than Halo Reach.
@hellsvacancy
Your right it is a high rated series, actually it's number 2 or 3 for highest rated exclusive series, right behind Gears of War, this gen.
I hope ND starts a new IP as this is why I have respected them throughout the years.(Always starting fresh each gen)
Not trying to be a dick, but don't almost all action games focus on the four main input buttons.
What's next we call GOW X-Square-O-triangle. smh
@Kryptix
The PS4 also didn't exist in 2009, mind = blown.
Also, I don't think you know what re-engineering means. If it was moved to any different system it would have to be re-engineered, including the Vita.
I want a full scale TLG, but having it portable also makes me kind of giddy.
By artstyle do you mean they went 3D? Cause that's what was different with Mario 64.
Ah, I misinterpreted the for me. But still you have to admit when a game looks good or is good.
Hell, I didn't like Uncharted one bit, but still am able to recognize it as a very good game.
Jack's got a point, anyone who doesn't prefer Sony's exclusives can easily be put off by the PS4, especially in the first year/confirmed games.
I loved GOW, TLOU, Demon Souls, and MGS4 on PS3, but two are no longer exclusive, while the other two have no followup/successor in the near future.
All I really see is Killzone and Infamous being the main offerings to PS4, right now, and I have never really taken a liking to either.
@Brix...
Constantly trying to make games be seen as a form of art, I assume you meant art since entertainment basically means to make someone enjoy and videogames have been doing that since the 70s.
We are not making gaming better by trying to put it in a category with movies and books. Saying focusing on Core Design, the backbone of a game, is holding it back is like saying Narratives in books are holding them back and they should add pictures to make them better.
