Microsoft depends on multiplatform games, so how are they going to announce any new games when all the exclusive games have already been announced.
I know Sony is constantly announcing new game after new game, but we cant expect Microsoft to do the same. They just dont have the studios or the talent to keep up.
They can support PC gaming if they get rid of their console.

Microsoft's gaming profit is coming from Xbox Live. The hardware has done nothing but cost them money. The investors over at Microsoft know that, and that is why they wont make another console.
Japan has definitely lost a few steps, but the japanese developers are still consistently making top tier games.

The only thing that they got wrong on Heavenly Sword was it's length. Heavenly Sword is one of the best games this generation, but it was way to short.
