It is kind of funny.
What "some" media outlets/sites and diehard fans are trying to do is hold Sony accountable for MSs' actions. It doesn't matter what the truth is. It's an attempt to divert attention and blame away from MS. These are the same people who were told point-blank what MS had planned by MS employees. Seems a little strange that now that advertising revenue is making its' way through to sites everything's suddenly different. Even tho...
Well, seeing as Mr Riccitello commands about as much respect from gamers as a turd in a swimming pool does from swimmers I'll just say:
I don't think your statement's having the desired effect John.
Edit: The pic would have looked creepier if they didn't alter it.
I guess it's only a matter of time before they cue the "Mobile gaming is the future" and "It's the fault of core gamers that we now make casual games" BS then.
Microsoft blew alright.
They now have a problem. They have to repair the damage they've done (incoming policy wise), show the games they have and reestablish trust with the gaming community.
It'll require a monumental effort and may need more than just an E3 conference.
Edit: For edits and stuff.
Edge are misrepresenting what was said.
Avalanche Studios never said the Xbones' power will catch up. They referenced Xbone Dev tools.
This whole piece is nothing more than spin from Edge.
What point? You made a nonsensical post and tried to cover you butt by following up with "My point still stands".
Am I missing something here or are you just too upset to make sense?
Edit: I'll take that as a yes shall I?
If you put a cable card in your Tivo then yes. It's also a DVR. Both of these functions are missing from the X1. You can plug it into the X1 and control it that way though.
I guess that means Tivo's likely to get used just as much if you have an X1...because...you'll still need it.
Reading's a really handy skill. If you applied it to this piece you'd know they're talking about the PS3. I mean it's right there in the OP. You didn't even have to click.
Oh wait, were you blinded by something? ;)
Edit: "Sony has yet to reveal their all their plans" - LOL. Thanks for that.
You're gonna see lots of these for months.
O_o
I think he's serious.
"I'd like to state now to other posters: please don't bring this down to a mud-slinging contest regarding other consoles, verbally attacking other posters, or any other infringements upon the rules here. Thank you." - NO DEAL YOU NASTY %$@#!!11!111
Prizes, bubbles and making you a mod? What else will the staff on this site torment me with?
*falls to knees with hands raised high*
WWWWHHHHHHHYYYYYYY?!
Edit: I used two hands. ;...

It is what it is.
It's going to get messy in here though when the people (You know who you are) who were BSing about specs get called to account.
Edit: WTF?! Beans, you're a mod now? I'm so screwed!
Edit 2: Dedicated, the two links you added have really brought MS down. Before reading thos...
"now EA is working on a mobile version of this engine, called Frostbite Go" The author then goes on to say "Of course that's not to say we'll see Battlefield 4-grade graphics on an iPad because the power just isn't there, but expect EA to bring some serious competition to current mobile device engine frontrunners Epic with its Unreal Engine 3." - Headline was created to hook people with the argument you just made. The story completely contradicts what's pre...
Yeah. Something's off. I really liked the first one (a second would be great) but let's face it, this whole business is giving off some very strange vibes.
It's sad that something with so much potential (that thing being Kickstarter) has turned into nothing more than cyber-panhandling. Albeit with a rider in their T&C that states "Give us your money then f**k off!".
I wish the best for the game. I just don't have any expectation of it becoming a reality at this point.
Agreed. Running with hearsay usually ends badly.
"I'm guessing a bit lower in your case?" - Not by a lot. It really did play well. The presentation was also reasonably good but the story was flimsy and the voice work wooden.
As I said, I agree with most of your points.
Not a bad review Beans. I'd have scored it a little different but I agree with most of the points you've made.
On a side note, Binary Domain isn't bad. I think if you go into it without any expectations you may get some fun out of it. It is very different from Vanquish and the slower pace and reliance on an AI partner can be painful at times.
Anyway, I'll leave it there as I don't want to spoil anything.
It's bad form to comment on an article you approve but in this case I'll make an exception.
Kotaku is owned by an advertising agency (as you've just shown). Their sole purpose is to generate revenue. Not to inform on, enrich or add meaningfully to gaming. It's just an avenue they exploit. Their method is outrageously simple yet effective. They provide drama.
Whether it's fabricating News, misrepresenting products or creating wedge issues (...
I'll write a blog if I automatically win a special prize.
That prize being that you have to slap Beans across the face.
Hard.
With a 4x2.
Edit: That'll learn him.
