"Did you read the article, the first thing they say is that they use MS's cloud for the servers..." - Really?

"Following a demonstration of Titanfall at E3, EA's Craig Owens confirmed that the game will have dedicated servers on all platforms – PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

"We're using Microsoft's cloud compute initiative to run all our servers for it, so it's all running on dedicated servers," Can you see the part w...

Edit: Now what I've posted doesn't make sense.

"Yes, DriveClub does allow you to opt out of its first-person perspective, though according to Perkins, first person was chosen as the default to give players more of a connection, as well as more of a sense of the car’s speed and location, by showing them what they’d see if they were actually driving." - Good to know.

It looks to be shaping up nicely.

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!
God knows if you wanted to show up MW you should have given the fish guns.

So are they EA servers? Oh, they are.

So how does Microsofts' Azure cloud fit in here? I mean one server (EAs) for hosting, matchmaking, stat tracking, etc and another (MSs) for ??? while your console does all the heavy lifting? Yeah, it's not like you have to meet an output budget or anything. Tell you what, I'll leave that one for MSs' PR department to BS about.

Still I've got to say it looks solid. My biggest questions are if I bought i...

Don't make me kill you Beans.

After all, who'd rig the monthly comps with Cat if I did?

There you go frigid. That should help you explain it to the doctor.

Feel better man.

The article uses kinect as a point of reference. The fact MS forced 24 million units on consumers with a mixture of money-hatting devs/pubs, advertising (misdirection) and turning their back on their core market TBE.

The thing is that kinects' impact wasn't completely positive. It's going to taint the new version which means MS is going to have to spend money repairing that before they can make any headway with XBOne (as it's now packed into every box). On top...

Save it Monday. I think he's beyond reason.
He's reached the point where he's copy/pasting responses.

It can't be good for him.

Edit: OT: There appears to be an overwhelming consensus among actual gamers with regard to the title.

It has. Many, many times. It just takes a massive amount of votes to do jack around here. Although if they keep up their crap it wont be that long

On Topic: I don't know what to make of this game.

"Why do people put the pound sign in front of random words on all of these websites that aren't Twitter?"

Firstly, it's a hashtag not a pound sign.
Secondly. It's use on Twitter to generate metadata (You can search for hashtagged posts, sort by tag, etc). It's spilled over into web titling that's all.

Hope that helps. :)

"I bet they're on N4G, too."

You know they are. Hell, we all know they are! Naming five or even ten wouldn't too hard I'd imagine. Being that it has an ever diminishing impact (due to the length of time we've all been exposed to it) you got to ask yourself, how crazy is it going to get?

Just how far out of line is the collective brain-fart known as viral marketing likely to get. I mean with the overwhelming negatives already attached...

The article is from a tech site that has nothing to do with videogames. They're simply advising their readers on MSs' policies regarding XBOne as stated by MS.

It's not a smear using grey language like MS "could", "may", "might" or anything of the sort to imply guilt on MSs' behalf (as there is no lack of proof and as such no requirement for the author get creative when writing it). No, this is just an explanation of a straight up...

Congratulations every...WTF?! Beans won again?

This flies in the face of the Geneva Convention. It's cruel and unusual punishment. Cat, I consider myself a peaceful guy that bears no ill-will for anybody.

That said, if Beans wins again I may have to tie his head in a knot.

So your point is that there is no actual upshot and kotaku are insinuating guilt without proof. Not only that but the insinuation is that the DRM Sony "may" implement is identical to what MS have stated they will implement. That about the size of it? I wouldn't like to try and run with that in a court of law.

Well, at least on MS policies sucking "a fat one" we can agree Bill.

"Did you mention SONY once?" Yes.
"No you didn't" Yes I did.
"only from a quote" Told you I did.

I understand you're losing a lot of sleep but please Neverending, let it end. You don't have to be miserable all the time.

"PS3 > Xbox One, by a wide margin." In sales yes but I get the feeling you meant PS4.

Anyway, I think greenpowerz is broken. It's happened to some people here recently. Just don't be too hard on him.

Edit: I was a little hard on a user a while back and I think I embarrassed him so badly he started acting out. It's just not worth doing that to people.

OT: Yes the PS4 is the more powerful console. If you're into tha...

"We're expecting to hear more at E3 in a week and a half—and of course we'll be pressing both Microsoft and Sony for more details at every opportunity." - So where's MSs' response then Jason?

I mean it is MS policy questions you're asking right (as made evident in your piece)? Seems strange then that you'd leave MSs' answer out. What didn't they give one?

Hmmm. I wonder why kotaku didn't write an article about tha...
