People should mainly be frustrated with the developers. It’s those on the team that chose to remove the dialogue due to their preference. They’re the ones to blame. Most “woke” consumers wouldn’t be picking this title up anyways.
@Lodossrage
I could be mistaken on this front as I do not have time to locate the source, but I believe an iphone has now been deemed an “economic necessity.” So with that, those that support the platform with content should not be subject to such high fees. Obviously Epic lost on the topic of that logic but it still has some merit
With all due respect, you sound ridiculous. A 30% cut on a device that is owned by nearly a billion people. They take no part in the hard work and development of these games/apps. There needs to be room for discussion and if Epic did not do what they did then nothing would ever change. They should be praised for stepping up and challenging them.
Yahtzee
Sony’s refund policy issue could easily be solved by Sony resolving it’s refund policy issue
@jin
I see what you did there
Just bought Ratchet: Deadlocked the other day. Happy to hear they are giving people a few weeks to make any last minute purchases
Looks like the Goblet of Fire
They brought over the lead who handled the DMC V combat over to Square and if I’m not mistaken he assisted big time with the FFXVI combat. But it will be thoughtful implementation to compliment their own RPG combat style.
No western release??
@Neogamer232
You may want to do research prior to making such statements. What you called “gimmicks” that gamestop is selling is bringing in “Billions” in revenue. Check their balance sheet.
FFVII Remake is not epidisodic. These are full length experiences with meaty gameplay. The proper way to look at the follow ups to it are as individual sequels. Ie. FFVII-2
No but FromSoftware could have been Sony’s version of FromSoftware if they spend more than a few million on their studios.
Shouldn’t the gameplay and progression be what matters most?
No “winning or losing.” I like many gamers would like to be fed. Ratchet and the like are fine, but I am tired of action-adventure. That is all they make. I would like to play an RPG from a publisher that actually gives a shit. The way Sony backs their 1st party, is commendable to say the least. So I don’t see why it is wrong for me to want more games from their 1st party of the genre that “I” prefer and enjoy.
I don’t mean to sound negative towards their teams. But when I ...
No I don’t believe Msft 1st party could have done this, which is why they were smart to acquire a publisher that has experience in the genre.
Witcher 3 FTW
Because they have ZERO studios that create massive RPG’s. And if they think they can acquire a small studio and have them start making them they have another thing coming. Square has all the knowledge and know-how (as well as patents) on certain rpgs and their mechanics.
Good for MSFT and Bethesda this seems like it is going to be massive. Sony still has nothing in the pipeline that is this massive in scope which is a disappointment because I generally only own PS consoles
Best game of the show
