You do know that the Xbox one controllers had some amazing haptic feedback right?? The dualshock feels like a cheap toy in comparison. I hated it every time I had to switch to play on the dualshock.
Also the adpater you are talking about does not support haptic feedback with a Xbox one controller on ps4 as PS4 games dont have any haptic feedback data.
I mean its a good game. But not matching the original is not fair. It would not be fair to any platform on par or superior in computing power. If it was features removed to make it run on the switch or anything less powerful than the PS4 then it could feel justified.
Right now it feels unjustified and I don't think they would have a sufficient reason as to why it was not implemented.
That's what I've been enjoying with the Xbox one controller this entire gen. If only I could connect it to my PS4.

I'm on pc, xbox, PS, switch and if all games came to pc I would play it on pc only, story or not. Its just optimal, not personal.
