How can you see anything at 614x346 in a compressed animated gif file? You're going to say the Xbox One wins based on a comparison that is 15% the size of the final image, then go on to laud your 4K PC setup?
I don't even know where to start.
Holding up what, exactly?
Any game can look good if you squint hard enough. Which you'd have to do to make out any detail in those tiny, horrible gifs.
Why would he not just take pictures with the actual PS4 screen share utility? These photos from a screen don't show much.
@Illusive_Man: Doubt if you want. Everyone can judge for themselves rather than listening to those who would downplay the difference.
"Sony has only sold about 1 million more consoles than 360 after offering a GTA_V bundle (the best selling game ever)."
First of all, the PS3 was on the market for a year less time than the 360 and still managed to exceed its sales. Second of all, the GTA V bundle was put on the market two months before the release of the PS4. Pretty much everyone who wanted a last gen console already had theirs when the bundle was released, and those who didn't already were pro...
Wait... whose family do you have?! :0
@Lukas: I see nothing!
Concise. I like it. Well said, sir.
If you own both consoles or an even better example, neither console, and want to know which system to invest in, this sort of information is useful.
What you're glossing over is that Ryse @900p also had an inconsistent frame rate, and just wasn't fun. It looked good for what it was, sure.
Watch Dogs at 900p isn't ideal, but it's better than the alternative (and I'm not even going into the PC gaming can of worms).
@Alexious: Of all the things to get disagrees on. Sometimes I hate the internet.
Show me an uncompressed video of both versions, and I'll bet you that people will get it right.
Of course Microsoft has a lot of games to show. A lot of them are left over from E3 2013! If the rumors are true, a lot of them won't be releasing until 2015. Maybe they'll look even better at next year's E3.
Well, they did have the sign in the original "Greatness Awaits" commercial, that they had to remove in post when it was delayed. Hmm... I wonder if you're right.
While I am also somewhat concerned about the graphics we're going to get in a week, my theory is that the game still looks like a lot of fun.
Sleeping Dogs wasn't terribly graphically intensive, and yet it was still a ton of fun. One of my favorite open world games of all time Saints Row 2 was painful on the eyes at times, and yet was still more fun than it's better looking sequel.
I'll wait to see how fun it is before being disappointed, bu...
"2 money grabbing re releases you mean? Id much rather play something new."

So the older the game, the better?
I wonder if people will be so quick to criticize remakes when it is Microsoft making them instead of Sony.
Which in turn made me think of this

Oh, you! *giggle*
I thought it 5 years ago when I was playing the last Wolfenstein game. :)
