CE-34878-0 is a generic code for an error in an application. It isn't always triggered by the same issue, and can be triggered by errors in any application. Not exactly the portent of doom and gloom you're trying to paint it as.
Factually inaccurate.
I have in hand, an email from Sony dated April 27th, 2011 received at 1:09PM CST, entitled "Important information regarding PlayStation Network and Qriocity services" that details the information about the hack. Sony did its due diligence before informing the public, just like any company would do.
All told it took 10 days, not four months as you claim.
Not to mention their compression. Might as well be watching it through a screen door in the rain.
Phrasing.
I do not admit that. I would go so far as to say that not only do I not agree, but your first paragraph contains nothing but fiction.
You ask for a list of games, then you move the goal posts and decide what games do and don't apply to your changing criteria; rational discourse rapidly collapsing under judgement and recriminations. This should not be a jihad. Gaming is not a religion, forcing you to look down upon those whose console is not the same as yours.

Are you kidding? There are tons of people in the game. I'm always running into random fire teams in Destiny, and this is just the Beta.
Sorry, it isn't an MMO.
@Summons75: Ah okay, so you're just wrong. Now it makes sense. Carry on.
What were the other two? I'd rather not reward this click bait.
So far, the PS4 has an edge in both FPS and resolution. I'm not sure what the article's point was.
@Palitera: I think they're less concerned with that, since they get zero revenue from used game sales.
FTL? Oculus Rift? Tesla Effect? Alien Frontiers? Agents of SMERSH? None of these games/products would exist today if not for the crowdsourced support they received through Kickstarter.
There are literally a ton of successful products launched through Kickstarter all the time, and though many suffer delays, the instance of an outright default on a product is surprisingly low.
To be fair, truefan1, I'm sure PSN would be faster if there were half as many people on it.
Also, Titanfall wasn't being downloaded simultaneously by literally EVERYONE who wanted to play it.
7 million people bought the game out of a 80+ million user base for the PS3. Add to that all of the PS4 owners who only had an Xbox 360 last generation, and there's a lot of people who will be experiencing this game for the first time.
The Last of Us is a fantastic game, with an engrossing story that really pulls you in. I took a couple of days off when it was first released so that I could experience the story uninterrupted, and I'm glad that I did.
Think of Geohot like Gavrilo Princip.
Gavrilo Princip assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand and through that one action started a chain of events, bringing two countries to conflict, which triggered alliances to be activated that ultimately resulted in World War I, and the death of 37 million people. All he wanted was the independence of Serbia from Austro-Hungarian rule and instead touched off the second deadliest conflict in human history.

Am I the only one who flashed back to the Simpsons, and the BBBQ / BYOBB invitation?
@truefan1: Those sort of insults are uncalled for.
What should they do? Use compressed video, or tiny postage stamp sized images? Squint? Turn their heads to the side slightly?
Well that's a trolling bubble.
Especially by spoiling it with a Youtube video. Awful representation of what the actual product looks like in motion.
Now if it were an uncompressed video...
