Will of the Wisps and Blind Forest were much more enjoyable for me even though ******MASSIVE WILL OF THE WISPS SPOILERS AHEAD******* I thought it was BS that Ori died at the end and was reborn as the tree/narrator. Ku could have bit the dust instead and I would have been happy.

Most of the games shown were by indie developers so I understand why they may have lacked a next gen shine. Plus early gen games often aren't a giant leap.
I was definitely not mad at the nonstop trailers because more is more when it comes to the start of the generation and games.
The disappointment came from the lack of actual gameplay.
I'll believe it when I see it as far as Horizon Zero Dawn 2 graphics go. At this point I value show ...
It certainly underwhelmed me when I was watching. I don't think they needed a whole hyped event about it which certainly contributed to the disappointment.
However after watching the game trailers on their own I am grateful for the glimpse into next gen. Microsoft might need to consult a dictionary on what gameplay means but these game announcements are definitely getting me amped for next gen.

I get you might not like Microsoft but some of us need a bit more than a logo to get our rocks off and any glimpse into actual games is extremely appreciated so yeah, thank you Microsoft indeed.

Scarlet Nexus is Xbox exclusive for now? That is surprising to say the least. I was certain of all the new games shown besides Madden that it would be coming to all platforms.
I do like that it's coming to Xbox One though as I will not be upgrading until holiday 2021 when I have determined which next gen console has the best software, hardware, price and services sweet spot.
Unless the rumored $300 Series S is real in which case sign me up while I wait!

Microsoft usually honors the commitments that their studios made before acquisition. For example Psychonauts 2 and Wastelands 3 will both be published on the PS4 despite the studios now being owned by Microsoft.
So if this had been true, Dying Light would have still released on PS4.
Although the way it sounds they may have been better off being acquired by Microsoft. It's not sounding too great for the studio or the game right now.

After seeing what Horizon 4 Lite, I mean Dirt 5 looks like I can't imagine what the wizards at Playground will do with Horizon 5.
Also excited for the reboot Motorsport. Dan and the lads have been tinkering for a while now...well in Forza terms anyway.
