People post utter crap like this on this site and then wonder y noone reads articles anymore.

I stopped reading after he made the comment on the dual cameras.

More fanboy "journalism"

EDIT: Another thing, y does relative sales seem to matter to much?
Does BMW constitute a failure cause it can't dent nissan sales?

The gamecube sold miserably, but it still managed to be profitable.

When developers lose money and have to make safe-bet generic shooters for the umpteenth time, it affects this non-stockholder

I want some new platformers.

tell the truth - are you high right now?

exactly. If you wait for a game to become significantly cheaper, most people have moved on to other games anyway, so the lack of online is no big deal.

Goodbye gamestop

Exactly
Also, piracy among kids tend to be lower - this move is no surprise

i honestly believe that if sony had embraced apps for the device, then the whole piracy thing would have declined a bit.
Its the added functionality of the device that keep ppl on CFW. The PSP is a great portable pdf reader for me (I still buy legit software though).

Damned pirates ruined a great handheld. if people would have just bought at least 2 games...

I'm not saying that being old excludes you from being an idiot.

I game with people between ages 16-55 and i have noticed a very different approach by them - thats all

average user age is a major factor in that i think.

Younger crowd is more into competitiveness.
Older crowd just want to relax and unwind

@Pirate

Exactly, i dont know if paying $150 for this is justified when it is that limited, no homebrew is available yet, and u may not be able to go online or play newer games.

Most pirates are waiting for other pirates to pirate theses pirates and produce a cheaper version.

all this will do is encourage some people to rent games instead of buying used copies - which may not be half bad.

Sony should just get a rental service fo...

part of the widespread acceptance of DD on PC is due to excellent pricing

a lot of psn pricing has imprvoed - but some of that is due to apple competition

i prefer digital - but not at same price of hard copy.

I can buy, play and sell a game in 2 weeks and recover more than half of what i paid.

Digital need to be half priced for me
