Gaming has evolved over time and there are now many facets to a videogame, which i think is good fro the medium.
I think what gillri is trying to say is that the game has some worth but it is not necessarily in the gameplay department.
I played assassins creed 1 mainly because of the presentation and the fact that the story interested me (politics, religion).

Also, gaming on phones will always be limited by battery life. I never expected this phone to be high spec. i expected it to run ps1 games and minis.
Your handheld battery can die and not be a problem, but you dont want ur phone to die at lunch.
I'll be getting both the psp2 and this phone when i need something to replace what i have.

I think they fashioned the gameplay to suit the story being told.
i liked it, and i was genuinely interested in Niko as a character. I think that that was an achievement.
When people started trolling, some of it was kinda funny.
After a while it got sad.
When they started messing with metacritic scores (little big planet), it was kinda disappointing.
BUT when they started doing stuff like revealing game endings (heavy rain + GOW), i really could not believe it. It was like watching religious fanatics at work.
