If they gave reviewers early copies, some would simply accuse them of trying to influence them with perks and favors. There's no winning. This is actually fair to smaller outlets that do not have the influence necessary to get an early copy. Its actually pretty fair. All reviewers get the game at basically the same time.
They had a beta to demonstrate the game and they are not forcing anyone to buy it day 1.

I think Warner Brothers may also have some interest in Xbox brand.
EDIT : Content ID system would have killed twitch. We all know it.
That broken and nonsensical content ID system would have killed twitch...and they know it
Games truly are a great medium. Good luck to these guys. Seems like they have their eyes set on the right place. Hopefully their feeling first approcah works out.
Some solid people working there. Gotta love that crayon art tho! very cute :)
They cant even give an idea of what they are working on other than platforms? Must be really early in development :/
Sounds like this game has some realy interesting characters and senarois! Always wanted to check it out but never got the chance. Glad its living up to the hype.

If its anything like the quality of their last sim-ish game Middle Manager of Justice then im interested. Altho this one sounds really similar to some of the other space building games out there i hope they can bring something cool to the table to differentiate themselves.
~I want to win Broken Age.
Man this must have been a real b*itch to get from concept to actually playable. A game about diggin into the code of games? Now thats something.

Good to see a former AAA developer sucessfully transition to smaller scale devlopment instead of going bankrupt and still manage to make games for the core gaming audience.
All these games seems great. Very interesting concepts.

So many indie games!
Hope this turns into a solid final product. Im interested in checking this out.
Man sounds like a lot of work this guy put into a concept that could fall apart at any minute. Good for him, breaking new ground.
Stages look really tiny tho. I wonder if they get any bigger than that.
Very cool concept. Very ambitious.
Not really my kind of game but still interesting.
Pretty cool stuff. How the sausage gets made lol.
Its so easy to become complacient and get locked into job you hate and do nothing about it. Good on him for not ending the search.
Scope creep really is a big problem in game development and has led to the downfall of many games and developers. Good on them for not falling prey to it badly.
but saying that wont drive up ad revenue........
