I would not pre-order from the demo's performance/state, what a bad way to advertise your game.

Exactly, no issues with doing this across low to high end PC's, why are consoles an issue.
You're out of luck with sound if you game with an add in card if the demo is anything to go by, total silence, game doesn't even appear in Windows volume mixer.
It's what they all want.
Seen a few and from what I have seen the good outweigh the bad.

Exactly, would be such a wasted opportunity.
For me at least the stuttering is very minor when compared to other recent releases, but yeah it is getting annoying in the PC space for sure.
I did say "should" only need running once, but yeah if GPU driver updates it could need another run for sure.
For me it ran with minor stutters at 1440p maxed out/full RT at 100 fps average, so to me quite optimized, granted I see now others are having issues so I should have said for me it is optimized very well especially when compared to other recent releases.
This is N4G half the time the downvotes/disagress are there for the sake of it 😉
It is optimized very well, short pre-cache at game launch (should only need to do this once), on ultra with RT it is only utilizing 5-6 GB of video ram.

If they offered a repair option I wouldn't mind so much, but if not drop the mechanic I say.
