50+?? haha man you really are not a rpg fan. Thats how long a regular rpg on a console lasts. Try 1,000 or hours for MMORPG. Its crazy, I almost lost one friend because of WOW, but I was too late to keep him from quiting school :(
whats with the hate on this game. The trailer at TGS was awesome. The graphics aren't that bad, but these screen shots are. I think its awesome switch to feudal days of Japan. They are going to put in real buildings and shrines that actually existed during that time period. I give huge kudos for this game trying to do something different.

its like it, more dark though. It tall takes place under one big city, and there are tons of side quest and mini games to. The battle system is sort of like it too, but you can pull of some really bad a moves in it. There were some movement flaws in battle, but yakuza 2 fixed it, so I really hope that hits america too!!! If you are into jap culture and something with great voice acting and really true Bad @$$ character then pick it up!

good question, maybe they just want micosoft to boast, then wait for NPD numbers to show sony did well, then sony can say HA you can't trust microsoft, and use this to smear Microsoft. Wouldn't suprise me.
I agree, I think the 360 out sold the ps3, but I think its a lot closer than microsoft is wanting you to know, maybe their numbers are right, but it will be interesting to see when NPD numbers are out.
razer no one here has said EA is the best. I like how they say ealier this week that ps3 is were they make their least money and now they say this?? I don't care, they still have to prove to me than make a good game on the ps3, I hope, really hope they start with orange box.

heck yeah X!!!! Shinning force 1 & 2 are actually the games I have most played in my life. I still like going back to them. I kept my genesis for it. I wouldn't be into rpgs if it weren't for those two. I know there were good rpgs before them, but those popped my RPG cherry, and I will always remember them.
KOTOR IMO was the best american made rpg on any console, but I still think its a little overated like sometimes the FF series can be. I think because of so many fanatic star war fans, combined with all the people that hate J-rpgs, people say its one of the best rpgs, and it isn't.

panzer dragoon, nope. There are just too many to mention. You got diseaga or any nippon icchi game really), breath of fire, shinning force, xenosaga, and wild arms. Gosh I love rpgs. Dragon quest too, but since thats own by square I guess thats why its not on the list.
I figured 1up would overact the "problems" with the ps3 version. I was only worried since EA was doing and their bad track record I was going to be cautious but with this, ign, and gamespy I believe the port seems to be ok, and i have been dying to play half life 2 for a while and my pc sucked at the time so I couldn't get it when it first game out..

I loved 12, I thought it actually had a great story, but the characters weren't fleshed out as much as the ones in the past. The battle system was perfect, but I didn't like how useless espers were. Half the time when I used them Either I die or the esper would in a matter of seconds. I beat the game and did everything there...

don't even compare splinter cell to metal gear. Seriously thats a joke. Metal gear basicilly invented what splinter cell is doing. I always laugh when people compare the two. Thats like saying don't worry about GTA we got saints row!! haha

haha as a sony fan, I'm not worried. This was two weeks ago, which was about the time sony started to take the lead in europe and Japan. I don't expect it over take the 360 for quite some time in NA. the 300% boost was over the weekend not two weeks ago, so sony is still gaining ground. I sort of hoped the 360 would have taken out the wii though, dang soccer moms and their four kids. lol.
Anyway, this seems to be a really lame attempt to STFU the sony fans from all the good new...

I don't like digital downloads for movies. I always prefer having something tangible that i can hold in my hand. I don't really feel like I "own" unless its on a disc format.
