so according to VG chartes ps3 out sold 360 worldwide and they haven't counted Japan yet? interesting. Thats what five weeks in a row PS3 wins worldwide? Didn't think that would happen, but just look n4g, ps3 is slowly turning the corner. Still has work in NA though.
games, really. Once those big flagship titles come out watch out. I have two friends that are waiting for ff 13 and MGS 4 before they buy one. However I don't think it will pass 360 in america in. Or in 08 anyway. Sony image, for whatever reason, has been tarnished in america.

I really wasn't disagreeing with that, just what you said about ps3 users needing to admit we mostly got a ps3 for blu-ray. I hate the all my friends argument. All of my friends have ps3s and none of 360, so I guess 360 isn't selling well. lol. I was really doubtful of blu-ray and thats why I only bought one blu-ray movie (300), but now its looking like blu-ray is going to win, so I'm going to start to buy more blu-ray movies. I just have a good paying job so i could afford to buy a ps3, now ...

WTH? LBP isn't out yet so you can't say its a niche game. the metal gear solid series has always sold several million. GT is the best selling racing game series of all time, White knight story is new IP, killzone 2 has tons of hype and buzz and tekken series is the best selling fighting series since ps1. So again WTH??
I have to completely disagree with you I did not buy a ps3 for blu-ray mostly and I think most ps3 users would agree. Did you buy the 360 for xbox live only? no its just a extra bonus. You know some of us might just want to play final fantasy 13, metal gear solid, and tekken. Just admit it ps3 is going to have a comeback year.
thats not true. If you count ps3 as blu-ray players then blu-ray out sells HD-DVD. Plus thats not the only problem. They don't have enough movies. There is more selection for blu-ray, plus the biggest movies of the year are on blu-ray. Think about it. Spiderman 3, pirates, and disney movies are all only on blu-ray. That and add in every one who has a ps3 buys blu-ray, HD-DVD didn't really have a chance.

my theory on this is that prob 85% people who own a wii are not hardcore gamers. I mean my mom and grandma wants one. If they get one guess what? they will only buy mario and wii sports type games. Its just the demographic they are selling and have a up hill battle

I agree regret SotC would be great, however I sort of look at it like it is a masterpiece film that would be ruined for a sequel. Like oo citzen kane is good lets make a sequel! lol. I think they could make a new Ip and keep the same themes like FF and make another perfect gem.
