I do agree, if this is what Nintendo are indeed doing I wouldn't be a buyer.
Think everyone should wait until it's announced officially as it's not the same foxconn employee that provided true stuff about the PS4 slim etc.

Dropping 32bit is a good idea as XP onward have 64bit support, they should think about the DX support though to keep people invested in the game with older hardware.

It might if it wasn't written with a DX12 core that they can't roll back like they are doing with QB.
