Interested in Crysis 2 and DA2, not really bothered about the rest though. On the whole Gamescoms's looking good, can't wait to see everything else that gets announced.
Good list. Glad to see HL2 there.
Blade Runner is at the top of the best Sci-fi film lists for good reason. An intelligent story and wrapped up in some of the best imagery ever made. Probably the best film Harrison Ford has been in, and definitely the best film Rutger Hauer has been in. Although he was perfect in The Hitcher as well, another classic.
And you're right, The Thing is still just as watchable now as it was back then, the sfx still holds up well. John Carpenter is another favourite of mine thou...
Doom RPG is the best mobile phone game I've ever played. Much train travel was eaten up by that game.
Ditto, I've actually been watching quite a lot of 80's films lately - Predator, Aliens, Cobra, The Thing, etc. Can't help but feel that a lot of films nowadays don't live up to the films of that era. Obviously not so much in special effects, although the SFX was more than passable, but in scope and storyline, and the fact the central character was a complete badass. Even Ripley (although she didn't have the 'man muscles').
It might be, and probably...
Okami was a great game, but it didn't have quite the same quality as a Zelda game. Near, but not quite.
Darksiders is excellent, one of the best games of the year imo. Looking forward to the next one. Although they mashed quite a lot of different styles together they made it unique enough to count.
WOW!
Potiontional?
Anyway, gives them plenty of time to make a great game, so that's fine by me.
Excellent, I hope it's got casinos. My favourite moment in DK2 was watching them celebrate winning :)
3D is the future they say. Well, as long as it's made by Sony. Otherwise you will be called a pretender to the throne, and accused of using hacks.
You could start by spelling 'Crytek' correctly. It's a small step in the right direction.
You're right, maybe one day I can be as clever as you. It will be a new ambition of mine. Maybe one day I'll give a wrong answer to how mirrors would affect Wii and the Move. I can only hope I'll get there.
@kerrak
Ask anh_duong, he might be able to do a scientific study for you. In his lab.
I got DarkSiders for £10 down the high street. Best £10 I've ever spent, it's a great game.
You must be a laugh a minute in real life jneul. I bet you're the life and soul of the party.
EDIT:I'm not 10, that's quite immature to say just because we don't agree with you not being amused. But sorry for being a meanie :'(
I can't believe you actually put any thought into any of that. That's right up there with the 'Who would win in a fight out of Superman and Batman?' argument.
In other words it's not worth caring about.
I think the mistake was making Quake 4 too consolized, it was a good game but not a great one. I enjoyed Quake 3 but the first two games were my favourites in the series, the Shambler remains one of the creepiest monsters I've ever seen in a game.
Can't wait to get the superior version on pc!

Wow, what an exclusive deal! 2 weeks before anyone else! For a ps1 game!
On a serious note I will probably actually buy this. In 2 weeks time.
