'you have 7 people over.. and don't have enough glasses.. then don't watch the movie in 3D.. watch it regularly. Its not like everything is in 3D and nobody without glasses could ever watch the TV.. sheesh '
That's a major flaw, not everyone will be able to experience it in your household. Don't watch in 3d? Is that your solution, get a 3dtv, but not everyone can watch it in your household? Can you not see the problem with that?
This ...
If you cancelled your preorder based on a review, you're an idiot.
This gives him a chance to vent his spleen about another game not related to the review. Let him have his fanboi rage.
There's not as many replies in this topic, maybe because it's a positive review, they can't knock the game as much. They'll wait for the next bad review, we'll see them then.
They only matter when it's a game on another platform. Then it counts.
Lol at wii games having the highest ratings out of all console games this generation.
Oh my yes. I just can't believe it. This means I will never enjoy the game when it gets delivered to my doorstep, I will be so disappointed.
But what do I know, I only play games every day and base my opinions on what I play?
Ok, how about this argument - He has 7 people in his household, to watch a film with all the people in his household he needs 7 pairs of glasses for everyone. How much does that cost?
Maybe the tv comes with so many glasses free, say 2 or maybe 3, that still leaves 4-5 people without glasses that he needs to buy for. That's more expense. What about people who come around for the night (which is quite the norm in my house)? He needs more glasses or someone will be left ou...

What if he doesn't want to spend $1299 on a 46" tv and can get one for much less without 3d?
You and me both. One day it will be a reality, it's just a case of when. And technology is getting better and better each day that goes by, the speed of development of technology in the last twenty years is quite astonishing.
Look at where we were in 1990 to where we are now, it's incredible. What will it be like in twenty years time from now?
Depends what angle and what distance. I think glassless tv is the holy grail at the moment and whoever gets it right first is the goal at the moment. The glasses are one of the biggest turn offs for most people, no matter what some people may think on here. When 3dtvs come out without glasses, then it will be something that will really become mainstream.
The audio logs were expertly done and told the story very well, the shooting was great especially with all the plasmids you had and I don't think not being able to go outside is any sort of issue. The ocean made you feel even more claustrophobia, which was the intention.
I doubt they NEED it, the ds still sells very good numbers. But I get the sentiment, I want it as soon as possible as well.
Lol @ roguewarrior talking bullshit :P
'Read my 2 comments below in respose to your notion of 3D with no glasses. I'd like it as well, but it's not going to happen for 5 years.'
How do you know it's going to be 5 years? Is that the official timeframe? What a strange statement to make, like you really know when the technology is going to be available :\
I'll answer the headlines question - No.
Yeah, I mean trains and ice caves have never been done before aye? UC2 practically invented them. UC2 also was the first game to have a guy looking for treasure around the world. It invented everthing in action adventure games as we know it, no game in the world had the features that UC2 had until it came out.

This brings the value of my ps3 up, many people will be after ps3s with certain firmware in time to come. Unless it really is true about it being about to be updated. We'll just have to wait and see.
Hold your head in the sand, but this is something to keep an eye on.
