Every studio that have has released a game recently or is working in one though, except from mojang which doesn't make new games but updates to one of the biggest games in the world. Hell rare just released a game(albeit crap one), so this is a pretty stupid argument really.

Valve has pretty much shitted away a lot of the goodwill people had towards them. They have had failures like steam machines, steamOS, and steamlinks. They have failed to regulate the marketplace well, and as a result there are piles of trash games inside it. They take a huge amount from the game sales(30%), and have just all around been shit, but no one will care since they own a monopoly and have no real competition.
Yea you do certain things, like earn a certain amount of achievements in a time period or play a certain amount of time for something, or something like that.
