They announced they wont do the show floor booth either. They will have zero pretense at e3. They also announced no conference around the time of e3 as a replacement either.

Square isn't a platform holder like microsoft is, so they don't have near the 3rd party support that they have. Game pass works because of the 3rd party games that are on xbox, not cause of games in the their own portfolio. A square game subscription service would be a mess.

Who knows what can happen. Nintendo was a joke until like a year and a half ago. Nobody though the 360 would be a success. No one though nintendo would piss away everything they had with the wii u. No one knows what can happen. Especially on this sight. If they can get some big games from their new studios then hopefully they can get back to 360 levels of success. Probably will not beat sony though.

Xbox isn't anywhere close to dying, but its not thriving either. Hopefully the can put out some good exclusives from ninja theory or the initiative and playground. This gen being mediocre doesn't mean next gen will be. Nintendo only recently has been a major player again in the console space. The problem I have with psnow is its still not even marketed. Even when they added downloading, no one except for some gaming sites said anything about it, not even sony. Its like they don't care for it at all.
That wasn't a conference like e3 is though. It was a fan event with an inside xbox show. It's not the same thing.
