That's not what data mining is. Data mining is taking large amounts of info and using it to find patterns or useful trends. It has nothing to do with discovering or finding things .. digging around inside game files is not data mining LOL. Not anymore than finding someone's logged in Facebook account on a computer they walked away from without logging out and posting through it is "hacking"
Yes... it does look sort of. The textures and simple lighting. The character model for instance is only OK. I didnt say it looked bad, or fully last- gen but clearly its not pushing any next gen system to the limit unless you have dozens of things going on at once which is why I held back judgement a bit.
It does more than remote play, its also meant to be compatible with playstation Now, play vita games that dont rely heavily on touch, and psone classics. But yeah local remote play with one of these is fantastic, take your game to another room ... I missed the sale Or Id have bought extras just to have one in the bathroom..... that would be hedonistically ideal.
Kinda last-gennish but with a really big world and alot going on maybe its acceptable ...

Dude its a Japanese rpg.... most of its core demographic is on ps3. A lot of people have ps3 and want games, Sony supports the ps3 still, why would they stop a dev. From making a game for it? Once more ps4s exist you'll see less games doing cross gen.

No doubt it's worth buying and playing, some people really like it, myself I think it's good, I wouldn't put it on my list of top games but it is actually beautiful and we'll done. It's certainly not as vague as proteus for instance.
Games that are also on ps4 are not ports, and because you're taking them mobile even the games that are ports are a whole other aspect. What exactly is AAA on a handheld ? World of final fantasy? Ys? It's a little Japanese handheld, it doesn't have its own call of duty annual branch but it does have assassin's creed, kill zone mercenary etc. Those jrpgs and stuff are precisely what you get on any other handheld on the market.

Bigger screen isn't going to help the battery life case much but the vita already has great battery life. ... of all complaints that's just reaching for things to add to a list of gripes but wouldn't it be nice... bring back the OLED! Heh.
A version with ds4 style controls wouldn't hurt, though you'd never see a vita native game use them in that case.

What you won't see that much in these comparison screens is the resolution jump but in general colors lighting models etc all look improved....what's so disappointing?
Yes at the time the jungle environment and cut scenes especially were great looking, just nice to see it caught up a bit more with the later titles. I have only fond memories of the first game to be honest.
Yeah, I wouldn't have been mad if it had mp... but I honestly care more about the single player as a way to get hyped up and refresh before uncharted 4.
The collection will be awesome for anyone who didn't play the last 3 as a way to catch up, but I personally did finish all 3 and still can't wait for it.
