Its just the copium of "I dont have it so its bad" and they go with the old "PLAYSTATION HAS NO GAMMMEEZZZZZ" shit. But yeah I mean it does have even more games coming, I use mine.

Well it has a lot of good games... WAY more good VR games than on XBOX or Nintendo systems and some of the games you're looking for would be third party games- its up to them too. I'll always take more games though the system already has a great racing game, a great flying game, some great shooters and rhythm games and some other stuff out and coming out, I am loving it. I DO wish we'd get another VR astrobot ..for the love of god atl east PORT rescue mission to VR2 LOL

You can say its good hardware but... a hardware is WHAT it does. So unfortunately it being KINECT is what made it "bad hardware" - Even if I agree spec-wise- - think of it, its like a ferrari with fuel maps that make it run like ass and make miserable power.... it would not be a good car in reality even if the physical engine was capable of more, UNTIL they fixed it- and they never fixed Kinect.

The ps5 is literally what made this game even hit anyone’s radar - it’s publicity alongside Sony was the only reason anyone cared about it - with that boost they were even able to sell limited edition vinyl copies of the theme and other things en-masse…. Not bringing this to psvr2 was a mistake as even at 10 dollars as an upgrade ps5 owners would be more likely to buy it - do you want my honest opinion ? This was done because so many ps5 owners already own it - the VR tacked on to the PC VE...

Kind of true given how bad Diablo 4 was but... still.. a person died man,.

I dont know what you expected or what youre waiting for. VR games come out for it.. .and now there is Metro awakening. What the heck do you expect to come out on it?

566d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Metro Awakening is CONSIDERABLY better than that. Alyx was released on PC and overhyped for what it was because at THAT time, youd actually find more complete VR games on PSVR than on PC- most of PC was indies and mods, not GROUND UP complete VR games like PSVR 1 was getting. Metro Awakening outclasses it in every sense. A LOT of games do.

That depends on tastes because we're looking at some big games there.. for SOME people who play a lot of GT it may be worth it for that alone- now we have Metro awakening and a lot of smaller titles, rhythm games etc - it is a 300 dollar accessory but I wouldnt go as far as to call it a paperweight- remember people used to spend 40-50 bucks on a fishing controller and it was normal.

PC gamers can use the headset on their PC- and especially if bought on one of the sales- its one of the better values for PCVR honestly. In my opinion at the price of the PSVR2-.... in todays market given the value of money... eh .. its worth it for a few good games. metro awakening is about 1/3 of the way to justifying it as it is ... factor in some of the rythem games, Ultrawings 2, Gran Turismo, and I think its more than justified.

It’s for sharing applications to easily deal with capture or streaming of media at higher resolution- and as scratch space for applications handling AI up scaling tasks in enhanced photo modes (up to devs to implement) : source: my friends wife works at the firm in MA who designed the chip that does that in the ps4 and ps5(and one reason it was known super early the ps5 would play ps4 games- because the chip Sony ordered was required to be fully backwards compatible with the ps4 IC which doe...

@ MetroidFREAK21. Woah boy… I hope you never ever have to own a PC to game on …just the operating system which is also activated via the internet costs that much- and good luck even getting physical copies. Nobody is forcing you to get the pro but if this seems like too much to handle …. I can just tell you’re going to complain if you get a flat tire and proclaim “NOW I HAVE TO CHANGE IT MYSELF OR PAY HUNDREDS TO TOW THE CAR AND THEN BUY ANOTHER TIRE AND WHAT IF IT LOSES ITS BALACE WEIGHTS ...

I think it makes sense its easier to do that- given that the PS5 is basically an expansion of PS4 arch- and many devs already support both PS4 and PS5 which is already technically 3 platforms.... so boosting it up further for a 4th must be much simpler than it was when PS4 was its own unique platform and devs were dealing with that alone.

Fixed in a microcode update. If you apply that at the beginning of the CPUs life its a non issue now.

Not bad to support PSVR for this long actually. If they do open up PSVR2 support it would be nice, but if you think about it , it was cool they supported it- It doesnt mean it WONT WORK anymore it just means they dont want to UPDATE the game anymore in terms of what version, probably PSVR owners can keep the version they have and keep using it ?

@Eonjay - Rogue Galaxy... maybe. .But if just a brand new ground up level 5 RPG , But yeah Rogue Galaxy ... its the one RPG where I finished it, went through the ending, and without even getting up to piss, I started a new game ..... I loved that game.

@Neonridr - Dealing with all the other apps on the PC, the rebooting, buying the OS to begin with- instability issues, the DRIVERS for various devices and believe me once you start trying to use different headsets or other things on PC it does work usually pretty well but its not as simple as a console- everything is not as integrated. Yes Steam generally works fine- but when you buy a game you DO have to check if it will even run as intended on your system (not a thing on console) - ...

@CrimsonIdol When you begin to look at bandwidth between the CPU and GPU, ram speed, etc the argument falls apart. You also need to look at things like system overhead and APIs - console APIs in general tend to yield a few percent performance difference.... that few percent is near equivalent to moving up one model of hardware for all but feature set purposes. You cant build a PC that'll match a base PS5 for 450- the extra couple hundred bucks are not going to make the PC keep up with a ...

People don’t remember how even for switch it turned out Nintendo went low end with specs - having the option to use Pascal cores and going with Maxwell cores instead with lower memory and higher power consumption (lower battery life than pascal cores would provide) at the same high price expected for the higher end configuration tells me the new switch will likely be exactly the same thing - not a console where you care how powerful it is or even if they did the best they could

SAYING whataboutism doesnt then make it not true. Its like saying "AMERICA HAS CRIME!" "ok. so does china" WHATABOUTISM. Its pointing out that its normal, not saying its not so bad because XYZ.

So... You want them to force crunch time and hard deadlines on game releases in order to avoid this? Great idea. Lets try that next.
