I hate bullshit statements like this. The CPU or GPU was alrady maxed out when the very first game ran below 60fps. It ran out of power. Reducing image quality and resolution to put more stuff on the screen doesn't magically produce more power.
The PS3 and 360 were maxed out on launch day with sub standard framerates.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. 3D games on current phones/tables especially the iPad 4 have VASTLY superior image quality, super-HD resolutions and superior textures to the PS3 and the 360. This will steamroll current consoles in image quality on a 1080p TV. Consoles run at 800x600 or some joke of a resolution with shitty textures, low poly models and horrendous jaggies.
Not to mention it has a full fledged controller, a 2nd display and does EVERYTHING bette...
You're better off buying a Steambox. $800 is my budget just for one component: the GPU.

Irrelevant because it's impossible. Even a PC can't run that resolution and a modern PC is atleast 20x a powerful as a PS4.
