I’m guessing a lot of those against this idea are the macho men of gaming … maybe when they where children they was thrown straight into the deep end of a swimming pool and made to learn to swim without any help , or thrown behind the wheel of a car without any help learning to drive … maybe even got a really important job with no training ..

Guess the thing is, if it’s not an amazing game, I can’t really see many Xbox fans buying it 12 months down the line , it may even look dated by time it gets Xbox release … gonna be gamepass fodder at best .

if the intention was to take it on a bus journey or a train journey i agree, its too big to lug around all day, but if its an over night stop somewere or a gaming session at a friends house then i think the clip on screen is quite a good idea, i can visit my parents and instead of watching gardening programmes on tv i could have a blast on my xbox

I really enjoyed this game , but not sure if it’s got any appeal to play through it again …. I’d like to see the upgraded version tho …

“Now it's up to Nintendo and playstation fans to be responsible for supporting the art of game development”

So If a user buys a copy of a game most of the money rightfully goes to the developer, but what happens when that game gets traded in or lent out… the devs get zero, that same “1 purchased” copy could end up in the hands of a lot of gamers who proclaim to support developers but actually contributed nothing

"Yay! A shit game instead of a good one! Just what I want to spend $15/month on!"

Strictly speaking , there is over a hundred games in game pass , so technically it’s only cost 0.15 to find out it’s not a game that he enjoys…
For those who would rather pay full price for a game they don’t enjoy then that’s their choice , just like If someone would rather try out a game as part of their subscription

“ Maybe there's some maths I can't comprehend, but giving all your new and old games away for $10 a month (much less for many people, even $1 a month for lapsed or new subs) just doesn't seem like a great business plan.”

If you said there was 30 million subscribers, half pay 10 a month and half pay 1 a month that’s still 165 million a month .. doesn’t sound like a bad business plan to me

Keep hanging in there …. Everyday I was checking the usual sources in the UK to no avail , then one day my luck came in , I must of checked shortly after a stock intake and bagged one, ten minutes later all sold out again

My biggest gripe I had with Oblivion was the Xbox 360 struggled to keep up , I was riding a horse over what I thought was a large open expanse of grassy field , then all of a sudden a tree or rock would appear out of nowhere , and by time the grassy expanse had fully loaded in it turned out to be quite a big mountain … It kinda put me off playing, and I never did get back into it …

I’m a bit of a cheapskate nowadays , usually buying long after release , but I always used to balance the cost of the game against my personal life , for example , if a game cost me £40 , and kept me interested long enough to of not spent that money elsewhere , I could quite easily gone out for a few drinks on a Friday night and spent £40 , so if that game made me stay in then I could justify its cost …

I can only assume that the so called Chip shortage is finally starting to ease, First the rumour that Amazon are opening pre orders for the Series X confident they will get regular stocks, Nvidia ramping up its Graphics cards and now Sony offering second consoles, Surely thats good news on all fronts regardless of allegiance

Just out of curiosity... If Sony bought out .. lets say Activision, i assume there a big publisher, would all those same people bash the Microsoft / Bethesda buyout stick with the same opinion , and also, would those who agree with the Bethesda purchase, would they be just as happy that Sony has bought out one of the big players ?
