To be fair, i couldnt really give a rats ass if a game is exclusive or not... if i want to play it, ill buy it, wether its on one platform or all of them ...

This whole Sony paid epic scenario..... i kinda see it differently, from a sitting on the fence perspective, I'll admit that xbox is my prefered console, but that Demo blew me away... Maybe Epic approached sony with the engine, they may of even paid sony to use the Ps5. Sony already has a more than capable engine and could probably achieve the same or better results themselves, Maybe Epic are just putting themselves out there to say to Sony, look what we can do... can you please conside...

Regardless of Console, or SSD speed or FPS, can anyone see a situation where the money we pay for the game just doesnt cut the mustard anymore... i guess we all want the better textures and faster games and bigger open world games but it all comes down to a financial cost.... to me, i think thats the biggest bottleneck, Devs still need to make a profit ?
I do agree with you , although I’m an Xbox fan , I wouldn’t be surprised if Microsoft has had inside information on the specs of the ps5 , I understand the SSD is slower etc but sacrifices need to be made to be able to compete with pricing
This is the only reason I will purchase this game the inclusion of Ash ... I’m keeping my eye on this one ...
110 mill potential PS4 customers really is an achievement from Sony, and maybe Capcom is using this as their reason, but 50 mill potential Xbox customers isn't something to be brushed under the carpet either... Just Saying...

i guess a full SSD will also hurt the space that could potentially be that extra ram ?
Im 100% certain that both companies have fully tested their hardware, im almost certain that if Sony couldnt utilise that SSD speed then they would of chose a higher capacity slower SSD, same for Microsoft, im sure if Microsofts SSD couldnt match the speed of its hardware then they would of chosen a faster SSD
Can’t believe so many people are wasting away on here when they could be making their own game console... I think, it’s been done for technical reasons which I claim to know zero about , if Microsoft want to sell consoles and join their eco system then scaring people away with unnecessary accessories is something they will try to avoid , Microsoft don’t have the customer base of Sony and there for can’t risk losing even more sales ... just my opinion .
I agree, I always remembered when operation flashpoint came to consoles, I could spend ten minutes running across the map and sometimes didn’t find a single enemy ..
To be fair to the headline... my current xbox makes MY pc obselete. not even mentioning the series x.. but just to bring things into perspective.. my pc is really crap.
Id love a gaming setup, and i think pc will always have the upper hand, but for me, the layout of my lounge, and the way i lie on my couch makes pc gaming a no starter... a console on the other hand fits in perfect with my lifestyle.
thats a good point, i have always wondered if it was emulation or like you said, surely if it was true emulation then every single game should work upon startup, rather than waiting for microsoft to release them..
Seems the anti xbox crew are more interested in the xbox games than the pro xbox crew , im more than happy so far with the release of information given by microsoft, why would they show all their cards now, surely thy still have more to tell us after sony show their next move, i own both a ps4 and an xbox, ill be honest and say i prefer my xbox over the playstation,, the reason... well most of my friends play on xbox. we not bothered about console exclusives. we like to play random games and ...
Ive been pretty much xbox ever since the original, but i got to admit this game is opening my mind and my wallet to getting a playstation...
until the next next gen consoles come out... the its back to upgrading the PC to gain the advantage, my point being... although all i seem to read is Playstation will do this, Xbox will do that , PC will do the other, but surely we wouldnt where we are today with the quality of platforms if it wasnt for the competition the others provided.
