Do you blame the developer for not optimising? Or do you blame the publisher for not giving the developer enough resources? Or do you blame Nintendo for not driving the install base?

I think I'll get the PC or PS3 version.
I've never bought a console at launch and I doubt I ever will. The game line ups are almost always weak.
The improvement on Wii U is so small that I can only just notice it on my PC monitor. Sitting 3m from my TV I won't see it at all.
So what is he doing about it? There's no way they're going to reach their 9 million fiscal year target unless there's something up their sleeve. And if there was, it would have been announced by now.
C'mon Iwata! Stop being such a tightarse and spend some of those Wii billions on new games!

Sweet already pre ordered for Wii U. The devs say it's between current and next gen but closer to current (whatever that means). I found it hard to tell any major difference in the comparison videos so I should be happy with my choice.
PS4 has better AA in the single player vid. Almost unnoticeable difference in multiplayer.
OK NOW!! Now I will accept (assuming that this is what it will look like at launch) that the PS4 versions of multiplats will look noticeably better. Not so much that a casual bystander could tell, but definitely better overall.

I agree with this. I game with Nvidia cards but they're always too expensive. I'm always hoping that AMD come out with some killer card (like they are about to) and completely destroy Nvidia in the price/performance stakes. That way my card of choice comes down in price :)
There's nothing wrong with being vocal. It's the suggestions of sexual attraction towards a piece of plastic and/or Mark Cerny due to his role in creating that piece of plastic which concerns me.
Even football fans don't generally suggest that they are sexually attracted to their favourite players. This is a whole new level of fandom. One which concerns me.
Nope. All fanboys suck, but it's no secret that N4G's Sony community is a little on the extreme side. Just trying to wake some people up.
Don't pre order. Don't buy at launch. Don't pay to be a beta tester for them. They don't like you, they only like your money. Comments like this:
"The only bad news about the PS4 is that it does not come with a marriage certificate."
Are what give N4G the bad reputation it has. It's actually a pretty good site, but the blind fanboys (Sony ones in particular)ruin it.
My deal breaker was the fact that this year's line up sucks. And paying to play online, and no backwards compatibility. PS3 is a better console but I should never have betrayed the master race by buying one. I hope they take me back or I'll be stuck in gaming purgatory.
I hope 2013 is just the beginning. This year's line up looks crap.
