I'm with you. Nintendo has some decent variety this year but a new IP is sorely needed. Something a little darker just to mix it up.
I don't think Nintendo has ever been downgraded to 'junk'. Link please.
I can't get excited for this game. I already have my platforming needs met with Rayman and SM3DW. If it gets great reviews I'll probably pick it up though.
Compared to a PS3 it definitely is.
That's gigantic for a Nintendo game. Especially a side scroller. SM3DW is like 1.7GB. The detail in this game must be massive. Retro have never been sloppy coders as far as I can tell.
UE3 is still killing it. That engine was so far ahead of its time. The art style suits it perfectly.
Yeah the framerate in the cities kind of bummed me out :(
PS3 is, PS4 still has no games.
They still never did clarify their stance on that engineer that said it was 'crap'.
Too true. If you want kids to buy your console: get GTA and the best version of COD on it. Kids want to be 'all grown up' whereas it's only the Nintendo faithful that seem to be buying and loving games like 3DWorld. And even then, it's only for the tight gameplay, 30+ year olds could probably do without the cutesy graphics.
Haha, with this much value on PS3 why the hell would I bother with a PS4? Once it has a decent library I'll buy one and just keep my PS+ going. I won't buy any games.
From what I've seen, it's mostly PS and Xbox gamers who want to play Nintendo games on their systems. They don't want to have to fork out for another piece of hardware just so they can get their Zelda/Mario/Smash fix, which is understandable.
'Pushing graphical boundries' doesn't matter anymore. As long as the game looks good I wish devs would focus on more innovative gameplay mechanics.
In terms of feature set, yes it is. It's obviously not as powerful but I'm not sure that matters anymore in terms of whether or not a certain type of game can run on it.
When a PS4/X1 game comes out and proves that certain gameplay mechanics are simply not possible without at least 1TF of power, then I'm wrong.
Titanfall looks awesome too. You should get that.
Tetris online competitive multiplayer is actually pretty awesome.
It deserves to do well. Such a great library. The only thing I hate is that you have to pay to play online.
Considering I still find to this day that MW2 is the best multiplayer experience around, I agree.
This actually looks interesting....
Yeah the X1 looks good. Now that it has gears it's a no brainer.
