@fluke8 - Companies promise a lot of things. Wait until they actually deliver and then buy.
Went into a shop yesterday and couldn't believe it. There were no Wii U consoles left, no copies of MK8 left on the shelf and half the Wii U accessories were gone.
They were advertising pretty heavily though and had the cheapest price around for MK8 so that probably explains it.
Ungrateful? It's up to a company to please their customers or they will go elsewhere.
That said, early console adopters are almost always in for a drought and the guy in this article should have seen it coming.
I don't really care what it does for Nintendo, but it would make my day.
Hope the gameplay is revolutionary, not just the graphics. Uncharted was pretty novel for its time.

They don't need games. They're Sony. People are eating the PS4 up and its library is rubbish. Games are not what sells Sony consoles.
