Being a fan of quality platformers and open world games, I would say that Nintendo has the edge in terms of polish and fun factor. Rockstar are more ambitious in terms of scope, but have fallen flat a couple of times with the fun factor (GTAIV being the prime example).
A Steam-like account based system so that when I buy my next Nintendo system, every digital Nintendo game I've ever bought is right there for the playing.
Also, disc backwards compatibility with the GC, Wii & Wii U would be nice.
By the time it comes out it will probably be a little more powerful than the PS4 which is fine. I can't imagine what would require a ridiculous amount more power than that in 2018 (calling it now).

It won't, but it WILL play better. IMO every game with action elements should target 60fps. If the devs are as good as ND then they won't even have to sacrifice graphical fidelity either!
It is kinda funny. Back when Japanese devs ruled the roost 60fps was almost always a target.

The Wii sucked balls, but the Wii U is pretty great really. I was a hater too until I tried it.
I'm still curious just to see what the Wii U can do visually when pushed by talented devs.

@LOL_WUT man you could have used better examples. Those games look crap apart from GTAV which is a remake.
Because unless you're a Nintendo gamer, nobody has exclusives good enough to justify buying a console. So it becomes about tiny details on third party games.
The funniest part? No games so far this gen are worth buying a PS4 or Xbox One for, so everyone loses!

Paying to play online is a joke. Especially for the peer to peer garbage that most game use.
True. I'd rather play NSMBU/NSLU, Pikmin3, W101 & WWHD than Knack, Shadowfall and Infamous though. TLOU is great, but I already have it.
Meh resolution doesn't matter, as long as all the games with action elements run at a solid 60fps...right?
