man after 5 years of dev time I wouldn't expect trees be that bad looking. If this was on pc those track textures would be a lot higher rez instead of the ps2 look some tracks and close to 700 cars have.

hum.. i was iffy about R2 but now i think i owe it to myself to at least rent it, maybe play hardcore campaign till i get Gears 2 then WotLK the next week. will most likely buy it after i beat gears. being a multi console owner is sweet this time of year :)

people have a right to hate it just as much as you do to love it. not everyone likes platformers, just like not everyone likes shooters. its all preference, and the reviewer most likely isn't into platformers which is ok because it lets people that feel the same way as him know if they will want to spend there $60 or not on LBP. people are to focused on if there preferred game will be AAA 90+ on gamerankings, metacritic etc. If you like it buy it play it shut up, if you don't no one's forcing...
even though i have a PS3 i wont be getting this. i was fooled into games like spore and SMG but no more! i grew up on playing shooters, RTS and RPG's with my day so maybe that's why i don't find this appealing. all i care about now is blizzard's upcoming awesome assault of games: Wrath of the Lich King, Diablo 3, Star Craft 2 all will pwn.
now a days people care to much about reviews and not the game.
the only thing i found disappointing was the lack of gameplay around the end. for now its my favorite for the year, that may change in the weeks ahead though.

blu-ray dosent have anything to do with the length of the game. look at MGS4, it took up quite a bit of disk space for what? 21 hours of game time and less for gameplay. you know repetition and impossibly hard goals can keep things going for a long time, just look at wow, endless hours of play with hard goals and almost no end in sight for most players.
