Yes, but having b/c would make it easier to have one system for the people that wanna relive the past. However, it's obvious that sony wasn't going to use UMD, but they still might have been able to do some UMD data rip.
Actually they said the same thing about the story for Killzone 2 and I thought that single player was fantastic, so I expect no less from the 3rd game.

I love the gears series and also the resistance series, but after seeing this resistance seems much more badass. Isn't it ironic that both games' third iterations are apocalyptic? In Gears Jacinto sank, and in Resistance the earth's not even by the sun!

I do agree mostly, but sometimes I find it fun to get hyped up by watching his videos. It's like taking a break from serious news and just relaxing.
The only thing is that this time nintendo's brining 3d, which isn't really something that adds to gameplay. I bought a ds this gen because of its games and touchscreen(also psp because of PS2ishness), which added to the gameplay like in chinatown wars hotwiring. This time around, sony's got the touchpad on the back, while nintendo has the 3d visual upgrade.
The uncharted experience on a portable is something that everyone should know about. It will literally blow my mind, launch day!
